I would 100% recommend this family run business. Don quoted me 8 months before we actually got a moving date but still went out of his way to be a helpful as possible. We were looking for a removal company in the Hastings Area 1. Spoke to member of staff and they visited our flat we were moving out of to access what was being moved etc 2. We received a quote for the move and booked the date 3. The morning as arranged three gentleman turned up at our old flat worked professionally removing our items quickly and carefully to their van. 4.They arrive at the new address again worked professionally putting our items into the property. The quote received was brilliant compared to other removal companies in the area. The whole situation from our first inquiry to the end process was dealt with in a friendly and clear manner. We needed to get a large sofa removed from my elderly mothers house. The charity she was donating it to failed to get it out so we asked Chapmans to help. They were fantastic, two people arrived on time and with no mess or damage managed to get the sofa out of the house and deliver it to the charity. They were a pleasure to deal with and we will definitely use them again in the future.

Steve was & his colleague Luke were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Professional, punctual & polite. Steve came to look around first before giving me a reasonable price before he & Luke moved all my stuff down two flights of stairs in my old place & taking all my stuff up another two flights of stairs in my new place. They took care of everything & took the stress out of moving. Definitely will be using them again & recommending them to friends & family.

Peter and his team were brilliant! We loved the fact that they were a local business which meant that Peter was able to respond with additional boxes and paper when asked. Peter part loaded a couple of smaller vans the day before completion day which took a lot of the pressure off and packed up the vans very efficiently. The guys were all fabulous, very helpful and curteous. We have already recommended Peter and Stripes Movers to our old neighbours who are also looking to move soon. Would definitely use again!

Stripes Removals are absolutely excellent, I only needed a fairly small job done but nothing was too much trouble for them. They are just a great couple of guys really friendly and not overly formal, which just helps you relax straight away. All I can say is that Stripes Movers are fantastic, we had booked them in for our house move and all communication and everything was set to go. Efficient, friendly, brought a personal touch to the process as Paul himself visited our flat to troubleshoot possible access issues and discuss how best to secure our delicate items for safe transit, as well as making notes of how best to approach our storage locker located a few miles away. Paul offered us packing materials (as wed underestimated!) and was even happy to refund any that were unused. Suffice it to say nothing was too much trouble, were even willing to disconnect and reconnect our washing machine, patient and considerate at all times..they have been firmly recommended to friends and family!

What a fantastic team, I moved 20th December thought it would be really stressful but the team made me feel at ease from packing my home to moving me to my new house. They used protective covers on my furniture, front door and stairs. They treated all my goods with care. Long Distance, No Problem. The Move It team headed by Neil where as professional as an independent trader can be. My effects where shipping from Leighton Buzzard to the Isle of Man without me even being present, the job was completed without damage, ontime, with personal attention and with very good communications. My load was heavy, not uniform and of no value to anyone else but was still treated with respect, I would use this company again if required.

I had a fantastic experience using Melhuish Removals. When l first contacted them, they quickly arranged to come round to give me a quote at a time that suited me. They arrived bang on time and everything was explained clearly and all questions answered as well as providing me with a very reasonable quote. At a later date, l rang to request boxes and they were incredibly kind and brought them round the next morning - even though it was a Sunday!! Hired a van for moving house, good price and no problems.

Moved over 1 week ago and had damaged and broken items. Asked for a response and recompense and still heard nothing. They even rode our 13 year olds bike out of the garage. As it stands I would avoid, especially as they can't even be bothered to get back to us, now they have their money.

Arrived on time, worked quickly and were very friendly. Made our move less stressful and charged reasonable prices.
