The Roofing Company completed a full new slate tile roof including replacing large skylight windows and pointing. They turned up at 8am and worked flat out all day for 2 weeks, tidying up after themselves as they went. Very professional and competitively priced. Couldn't have asked for better service, very pleased.

I have had my roof fixed twice already by 2 different roofing companies, however no one seemed to fix it. I was then recommended Allan by a friend and all I can say is what a difference. Allan was extremely thorough. He took before and after pictures of my job, explaining the issues and how to remedy them. Allan and his company are very professional and trustworthy. They worked through horrendous weather to get my job done. I cannot recommend them enough. They are reliable, reasonable and will not take advantage of you. Everything is explained in detail with broken down costs. If you need any roofing repairs then please do not hesitate to contact Allan and his team. They are excellent. Thanks again

From start to finish, I could not fault this company, the whole squad are a great bunch of guys to work with. They felt like part of my family. Will have them back in the nothing was a problem, even last minute changes to the job.

After a good and prompt response initially, the company did my flat roof, I had a leak and initially thought it was because the flat roof had come to its end of life, was dry and no issue for a long while, 2ent back to them after the roof failed and I am now being fobbed off with excuses, very poor customer service hence the one star.

Update on my previous glowing review - after a very dry spring, summer and autumn last year the torrential rain hit us on 17/11/22 when we discovered the leak still there exactly as it had been before the repair so I texted John the next day. To cut the story short I have been texting and calling since then, sometimes getting a reply and other not. I have had promise after promise they would come and look at it and on the dates when they did give us one, came another excuse as to why they couldn't make it. He was supposed to come on 16th March this year but when I texted him at 8.37am to say I was going to be out for 20 minutes to get husbands papers to take to hospital I didn't even get the courtesy of a reply. The reason for the late review is down to health reasons for both myself and husband. We paid £350 basically for a leak which is still there and atrocious customer service.

Thistle Roofing has just completed my roof, fascia and roughcasting. From start to finish the company were extremely professional, hard-working and reliable. The work was completed to an extremely high standard from the time we got the quotation to completion and supervised by Derek who was very helpful and courteous. The customer care was excellent with no question unanswered and they left my property the way they found it. I would have no hesitation in recommending and hiring this company again.

After I inspected the work they did on my gutters in a suspiciously short time, I emailed to dispute the quality of work with the owner as the gutters were still pooling - not what was agreed. He called me with an intimidating and bullying manner insisting the work is done and threatened me with debt collectors. He had no interest in seeing for himself. I suggested I get a second opinion from another roofer but he rejected this. He was so unpleasant that I had to hang up. I emailed National Federation of Roofing Contractors for mediation then inforned Grant of this step and that I'd be in touch. He tried to dissuade me from this step and requested no more contact from me. He made a false allegation of fraud against me which the Police (who came to my house!) soon deemed to be malicious. The NFRC investigated them then informed me of the termination of Thistle Roofing's membership. Their debt collector ceased persuit of the bill after my explanation. AVOID!!

Having just had my roof replaced by Thistle Roofing I am happy to say that the whole experience was faultless from start to finish. Derek clearly explained the process to me before providing a very competitive quote, (a quote which was more than half that of another company who were providing the exact same materials). Tuesday - a team of 5 worked a solid 9 hour day to completely strip the roof and make it weather proof. Wednesday the same team returned and completed all the tiling work, leaving my property clean and tidy. A phonecall from Derek later that evening confirmed I was happy with the work completed. Thursday All scaffolding was removed and everything was back to normal again. The neighbours couldnt believe the efficiency of the team, who were all polite and courteous and really worked hard to complete the job within the quoted 2-day period. Thistle Roofing met and exceeded my expectations and I would therefore have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.
