Taxis in Alloa, Clackmannanshire

Very unhelpful. I needed to get to the health centre to pick up an urgent prescription after work before it closed. They would not accommodate my request to book a taxi that wait at the health centre a few minutes till I got it to bring me back home. I asked if I could book the return journey as a separate hire to collect me instead but they wouldnt do that either they said Id have to phone and book a return after Id collected the prescription which would probably have meant waiting at the health centre for quite a long time till they had a driver free. Really disappointed they were so unaccommodating as Ive used them a lot in the past.

Shocking you think it's okay to sware at someone who is having trouble booking a taxi

Rip off. Tonight I had a taxi which went from Stirling Street in Alva to Carnaughten Place Alva then onto Pompee Road Sauchie at 23.15 charged £19 overpriced for such a short distance.

Never on time, very rude drivers and when you phone and complain, you just get fobbed off by owners, pair of crooks , wouldnt let them run a bath , try to force drivers to work double shifts, not give them time of, I thought that taxi drivers were self employed and if you give a weeks notice you can get time off, not here you wont if it doesnt suit owners you wont get it off, felt sorry for full time drivers as part timers get everything

Drivers are all brand new especially Norman, he will go out his way , has even given me his mobile number, as at times taxi number is busy, he will come and pick you up, yes he talks a lot , owners are rockets though , they havent a clue how to run a business thanks again to my favourite driver Norman, hope Im not barred for speaking the truth lol lol lol

Great company couldnt fault them in any way, especially Norman Irish guy, he wont mind me saying once you get a word in lol and get over him wearing sunglasses at 3am lol lol , he takes this company to another level, once I got to know him, he gave me his own number and if the phones are so busy , you can just phone his own personal mobile, and he will even get you stuff from shops even in his own car , keep up the good work Breahead taxis

Fast friendly service nice clean cars used a few times always prompt and very helpful

Good clean cab and friendly driver dropped me and the GF off right outside the pub for a works do no worries.

this company is an absolute joke. had taxi booked for 10.30pm and had been waiting at my window since 20 past for them to show up. got to 10.55pm and had to phone up and ask where it was. immediately got shouted and sworn at and told i was a liar and that it had been outside my house since 25 past which it was obviously not. i tried to tell the guy that they must have been sitting at the wrong address then as streets in my estate have similar names but he wouldnt let me get a word in edgeways and hung up on me leaving me with no way to get to where i needed to be. the way they spoke to me was disgusting and their attitude needs to change. never using them again

Brams-Premier Cars really are the worst taxi company I've ever encountered. 100% of the taxis I've booked with them (and it's been A LOT over the years) have been late and I've never had so much as an explanation, let alone an apology. Car booked for 2:10 for an urgent dental appointment at 2:25. By 2:15 no taxi so I called to be met by a barrage of shouting and verbal insults finished off by being told our car was now cancelled and not to use them again if we need a car to be on time. As a small business owner (and a decent human being) myself I would simply never shout at a customer when the problem was quite clearly of our own making...and whether this was the owner or just an employee of the company it speaks volumes about their attitude towards customers. So, I'll take his advice and never use Brams again and I recommend that if punctuality matters to you that you find an alternative taxi company... I can highly recommend Parkside Taxis in Alva as a professional alternative.

Dont use this taxi it's a fcking joke phoned up for a taxi and got told 10/15min phone up half hour later to get told 2/3 min away waited 15 min try to phone back and got patched off them then waiting another 15 min for it to finally show so all together sitting in the freezing cold waiting for this taxi absolutely a joke man!

BOYCOTT!!!! Absolutely shocking service! An hour late for our pick up and while waiting we were phoning the taxi rank only to be hung up on and not given any information on the status of the taxi! We phoned the rank to settle up and pay a reduced amount after complaining and detailing what happened which lead to them not apologising and threatening us with the police. I spoke to the manager that then shouted and swore down the phone at me! Absolutely shocking company and I would NEVER use them again!! I would recommend everyone to BOYCOTT this company until they improve their service and manner in which they speak to people!
