Friendly driver, great service

We booked a taxi for 4 adults to take us to a restaurant & a return trip. The driver who picked us up was on time, friendly & efficient ( he deserves a very good rating). For the return journey, the company could not come up with a driver and after 50 minutes of waiting & numerous phone calls to them, we fortunately found another means to return home. Alpha cars seem to have a monopoly on all taxi firms in Basingstoke ... sadly they did no fulfill their obligation, so we would not recommend them.

Called a day in advance asking for a 3:15pm sharp service for a school run, even sharing with the operator that if I was not going to be able to make it "my wife would've killed me". Service confirmed and call 30 min before the expected time (2:45pm on the day) to confirm all was booked and ready. 3:15 Nothing!... called and they advise the vehicle was on its way, 3:25 nothing! 3:27 vehicle showed up telling me he was just told about the service. Had to collect my kids at the school reception because of course, I was 10 mins late...

They don't deserve even a one star. I booked a taxi on Friday, wanted it to come on Saturday. I waited 15mins for a taxi, I was in hurry, so I called to Alpha Cars asking where is taxi, the operator said it will be with me soon. Taxi never showed up. I called again and said it's not here so I want to cancel it. They said sorry and sent me a message that the driver couldn't find me which is not true! The taxi never come to pick me up. So disappointed, because of them I was late to my appointment. I will never use them again and won't recommend to anyone.

The company is good depending on what driver you get there is a mini bus driver who resembles Shrek with a Liverpool accent beware he is a greedy bully.

Worst taxi company in Basingstoke order anying thing nere 12pm they say thay can't do it till 1 am rude staff on the phone as well and will lie though there teeth there is only 1 taxi company in Basingstoke delta cars cheaper and want to help you un like greedy alfa cars

Friendly drivers, always on time and reliable. First class taxi service, I would not use any other for business or personal.

Great service, decent price and excellent reliability. Took us to the airport very early in the morning, nice clean car and I must say Phil was surprisingly cheerful and happy at such an ungodly hour! Made the journey so easy and nothing was too much trouble. Great to have such a good service local to us for trips to and from the airport.

Excellent service from Phil, he drove me to an appointment at the Royal Surrey last week. He waited for me and then returned me home at a very reasonable price, almost half the price i was quoted by a company from Haslemere! Thank you Phil, we will be calling you again i'm sure.

I used Go2 cars recently to get to Heathrow airport very early on a Monday morning. I received a text the day before from Phil confirming that he would collect me at 04.00am, this was very reassuring. Sure enough he was waiting outside at 03.55, a relief as I was once let down in the past by a different company from Bordon who didn't turn up! Overall a very good service all round, I think there may be cheaper firms in Bordon but if reliability is what you need then I can really recommend!

For many years Phil has looked after all of our travel, mainly for airport trips. We have always had a great service, and i am always happy to recommend Phil to friends and family.

Fantastic experience. Kindly picked us up and run us back to Farnham house hotel after a wedding. Top chap.
