Taxis in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire

My son and I used Abbey twice on a recent visit and I managed to lose my car key in one of the taxis. Not only did Abbey search for and find the key, but they also posted it to me recorded delivery and then tried to ring me four times to check it had arrived safely. To cap it all, they refused to let me reimburse them for the postage. A great service and one I recommend highly. And the drivers were excellent too, in awful weather conditions! Dr David Waugh

Excellent service by driver Ayed to and from Birmingham Airport. Prompt, polite and helpful service to the airport and waiting for us on our return 5 days later.

Disgusted with the taxi driver and service! They do not deserve the one star I had to put in to submit this review. Do not use this company, they overcharge and are rude to the point that I felt worried in the car.

Terrible service. I ordered a taxi, was told it will be with me within five minutes, after waiting for ten minutes, I called back and was informed it won't be long now. After fifteen minutes, the taxi still hadn't arrived. I then called back and was told that the book-keeper had taken the wrong address. I then waited another 10 minutes and the taxi still hadn't arrived. I then called another taxi base who turned up within five minutes. Won't be using this firm again.

Absolute rip off. Got the taxi a couple of days ago to go for 4 miles. The driver said that they charge £1.45 per mile but somehow summed it up to £12 when I was getting out. It was from Rolleston to Tatenhil. I didnt check the distance in advance. Wont use again and definitely wont recommend to anybody

Horrible experience extremely rude man on the phone who tried to blame me for the car not turning up after I booked to catch a train! I will not use again, unreliable!
