Taxis in Lichfield, Staffordshire

I've been left waiting from 20minutes to an hour on NUMEROUS occasions and when they've just pit the prices up its not acceptable. Its not the drivers fault but the office is not passing them the jobs early enough despite phone calls to the office to remind them

Truly appalling service- couldnt find house, then took couple approximately 8 miles out of the way instead of taking direct route, then charged double the normal price on the premise that it was after 12 prices ( was at an 11.30 pick up). When I phoned to complain, hung up on me twice. Dreadful.

Had a taxi a few times from the Bloxwich radio team and will recommend an use again as they are very well mannered drivers and do there job professionally and honestly Im giving you a 5 For your services well managed firm thanks (malleh chaata ka ne oh) good job guys keep it up

Mom order a taxi was £5 so she gave him £10 said sorry got no charge will be back soon to give her the money still waiting. I phone them and told them I want the money drop off mine and how dear you rip off a o.a.p

We preordered a taxi from lichfield taxis 3 days in advance for a 04.20 pick up to lichfield coach station. We checked numerous times that they had booking and yet they let us down on the morning! Phoned 255 255 taxis at 04.15 and they sent a taxi immediately and got us there just in time for our coach taking us to France and Switzerland. Unbelievable driver and we are so grateful to this company who have never let us down. 3 people would have missed our holiday if it wasnt for 255. Thank you.

We have used Marks taxi company on many occasions over the years and have always been very pleased with the professional and reliable service and lovely cars. Absolutely excellent. Thanks to Mark and all the team.

Dont use! Arrived 40 minutes and tried to charge me £22 from kings Bromley to Alrewas

Avoid these scum-bag morons! They are liers, theives and total scum! I called for a taxi to cannock and was quoted £10 from Aldridge. When we arrived at the base cabbin, a very angry and psychotic indian fellow greeted us extreemly harshly and when we asked him to honour his £10 quote, he called us liers and took a hammer from his bottom drawer, he then proceeded to physically threaten me with the hammer! The little idiot is lucky I didnt take it off him and use it! Let alone calling the police or the boys to come and deal with him... if you have a brain, AVOID these idiots and use a reputable company, which isnt run by psychotic little idiots who dont get the laws in this country! And if you little got-shites dont like my review, my number is 07853 460838. I f**king dare you to call!!!

Booked taxi in person in office last thurs for taxi 3.30 am fri. Didn't turn up. Phone not answered on either number. Neighbour came to rescue otherwise £600.00 hol lost. My advice never book these cowboys!

I have used this taxi firm on numerous occasions , their timekeeping is not great but they are local. Saturday 9th April I ordered an 8 seater minibus to travel from Aldridge to Wolverhampton return. After waiting in the cold for 10 minutes I rang the office only to be told I had not booked a taxi - then to be told the taxi had been cancelled by them and that they did not have an 8 seater anyway.. The telephone operator was unsympathetic and told me my business would not be missed - charming person !

Ordered a return mini bus pick up from Henley in Arden. Dropped us off. Waiting to be picked up at arranged time. After half hour rang base to be told no one will be coming. Will never use again!

DO NOT USE - absolutely useless. Pre-booked but they did not turn up. Said they couldn't find address even after I had given them detailed instructions.

Was told that they had taxi but would not send to me because they wanted me to choose them over another taxi firm and because I didn't they refuse to send me one well they won't be getting my money again or anyone I know,the guy on the phone raged questions at me like a psycho partner like I cheated on him then changed the fact he had a cab to he didn't I would avoid this company there homophobic views are bad enough then there the state of there vehicle, the fact they get there family to give them good reviews on fbook is a joke they delete the rest,ran by men who are stuck in the stone age I have reported them and if anyone else get problems with them go to the council

It was once a good company and cared about customers now all they care about is jacking up the prices and getting all the money they can it was 25 pound to Birmingham now 40+ is terrible when all other places charge 25 to 30,now they have put there regular jobs up in prices and don't tell u until it's time to pay been a regular for many years today I've deleted there number and will never use them again

I had a return taxi to Birmingham Airport. Had to pay £45 return which was brill. Driver picked us up from our home took us there & then asked for another £45 as we needed a return for the way home after our holiday. I rang brownhills cars & questioned this & the man said thats correct. So I payed it. Payed £90 for a return. To then get back to Birmingham airport and get no text nothing. So I ring them and they say the driver is on the way. I then have to ask for the Reg number as they never gave it me. Still had no text waiting around for 40+ minutes for me to ring them again to find the women on the end of the phone so rude. Wouldnt let me explain, shouting at me down the phone saying I havent even used brownhills cars to get picked up.. ect. Saying there isnt a taxi on the way as you havent booked. When Ive payed £90. If they think they are getting away with this they can think again. Its disgusting. To then us having to pay an extra £50 in a random taxi to get home.

I always use this taxi firm. And tonight for the first time ever the lady that usually answers the phone was completely rude to me. Absolutely disgusting. Sort your employees out before you lose loyal customers. Also refused to let me use a ref number for owed taxi fare because manager wasnt there. She needs to see a shrink or something she has big issues. Talking to customers like that, saying Im not here to argue when she made the argument. She also put the phone down after I made a booking and she then cancelled the booking. Wont be using your taxis anymore!!!!!!!!!

This company never lets me down and big shout out to Shabba a lovely man always brightens my day up dropped me off at a funeral a while back and dropped me off at hospital today top bloke is shabba never a grey day when Shaba is driving

Taxi turned up 15 minutes late & then charged us more than quoted over the phone. If the driver actually passed a test at any point I would be amazed, his driving was appalling, verging on dangerous. I will not be using Brownhills Cars again & I would advise anyone reading this to avoid them.

Called for a taxi to take me home from hospital, being pregnant and having just been discharged after having surgery I could barely walk or stand. Stood in the cold and rain for the taxi to speed past me completely without even slowing down. The driver then called me very rudely saying 'where are you I'm going now there was no one there' absolute liar and when I repeatedly told him how ill I was he refused to pick me up and said 'yeah well you can call someone else' and hung up on me. Leaving me in tears and on the verge of collapsing. Nearly 30 minutes later another driver came and drove so erratically that my stitches were pulling then they still charged me full price with no real apology. Disgusting that they employ people like that. Will never use again.

Worst possible company. They take bookings with multiple drop off locations then deny all knowledge of multiple drop offs. The driver was reckless and made the passengers feel sick and unsafe. Then demanded extra money off the last two ladies in his taxi claiming there were not multiple drop offs. The driver then got angry as it was making him late for his next job. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Avoid this company at all costs.

Totally disgusted at paying £40.00 for return journey only 4 miles each way you should advertise that the customer has to start paying for their journey before you even pick them up I wouldn't recommend you unless people are happy to be ripped off

Lovely lovely drivers always helpful and will go out of their way to be obliging. Can't fault them,best local taxi firm :)
