Driver went to wrong town for pick-up. Had to chase them myself.

Excellent service, easy to chat to and get on with. He fits me in around his busiest times so I can get to work on time. Wouldn't use anyone else now. Get booking if your local you won't regret it. Thanks Tony

What's the point of booking a cab a week beforehand if it comes over an hour late?

Do not use. Very expensive. I went 2 miles down the road and i got charged ?8. When i asked about the price i got told its because i was 'out of the area' i was in ledsham which is right next door from ellesmere port and their taxi office was only 2.5 miles from where i was getting picked up from. AVOID!!!!

Not half bad really even dropped us off where he wasn't supposed to stop.

Got taxi yesterday 6th Nov left a bag in cab rang as soon as I realised. The taxi driver Peter said no bag was left this was a perfume set and was in a special bag it cost me over 50 pounds was gutted even more so when your drivers just keep list property. I rang this morning to see what policy was on handing back left property and the clown of an operator hung up on me .I am fuming and I will put this on social media to inform the public of this terrible ordeal

One of their drivers, Registration WA14 FVU (Peugeot Boxer), did not stop after running over my cat on the evening of April 20th on Sarn Lane in Caergwrle. This resulted in a £600 vet bill. Regardless of whether it was an accident or not, the business sent me a half-hearted apology via text, but accepted no accountability for the costs I incurred. When I called back, the person in charge even threatened me with slander for leaving a negative review. Perhaps my moral standards are higher than theirs, but if I caused someone to be out of pocket due to my actions, I would pay for the costs without hesitation. Based on my experience, I can conclude that Direct Cars is a terrible business.

Arrived on time and promptly for both journeys, the drivers were patient, helpful and understanding with an elderly passenger.

Ordered a taxi for 00:30; not arrived by 00:40 so go into the office and ask why; told that they are busy so itll be fifteen more minutes. Not acceptable seeing as Im expected to pay full price even if the taxi is late. Fifteen mins pass so I go in again and demand to know why seeing as I did book the taxi two and a half hours earlier! They said “cant you see we are busy?!” Not acceptable! I booked it two hours ago, not five mins ago! Tempted to just get the taxi and jump out without paying. No wonder the imbeciles only work in taxis and not anything more critical! Can clearly not organise themselves! They obviously book too many taxis for the time they actually have. Absolute con and I would always ring other services prior to considering these again

Vulgar offensive taxi driver being reported !!! Had a child in car with us

Bit of a grumpy driver but he got us where we wanted to go no problemo.

Absolute awful! Asked to be picked up from Cineworld at 10:30pm as I went to watch a movie but the cinema was getting too hot and was steaming up the projector, delaying the film as a result I came out at 10:45pm to find no taxi and a rude voicemail saying I am barred from using their service because my phone was off (have they never been to a cinema? No phones allowed!) and wasn't there at the time I asked for. Leaving me to walk 6 miles home in the dark wearing black clothing. Unsafe!

A wonderful taxi firm, always on time, cars clean and tidy, telephonists very helpful.

Booked a taxi to take my friend to a surprise birthday party. Booked online a few days early and received booking confirmation via text message. The taxi didnt turn up. I tried ringing but got an answer phone message saying they have no taxis available. I received no phone call or explanation. Awful experience. Do not rely on this company, avoid them!

the operator for this company is a c*nt. Called up to find where the cab was. He tried saying I gave the wrong address after clearly saying moreton twice. Bad attitude, it's a shame. They're usually really good.

Terrible company! Booked a taxi last night to have the driver drive off on 2 young girls because he didn't like the look of the pub. We called up to find out were our taxi had gone only to be hung up on several times. Absolutely appalling service it was lucky another brilliant taxi firm completed their job properly!
