Taxis in CM21

Top company, have used a couple of times and never had a issue and always on time which makes a change from other companies used!

What an awful experience. Smoky, uncomfortable taxis but the worst points were 1. They didn't turn up when booked in advance- we called and they came late but we were then late for our appointment 2. They charged us nearly double the price quoted on the phone and were completely lacking in concern when we dared to argue about the price. Never again - there are many other good taxi companies around the area

First time trying to use this company and I won't bother again. I called about 1.5 hours before I needed a pick up from our local station and they asked me to pay in advance which I was happy to do but when we got off the train at our local station the taxi wasn't there. I called and was informed that they had just finished a job but were still 15-20 mins away. The walk home takes about the same time so my husband and i just walked home in the pitch black. Rather infuriatingly, I was told I couldn't have a refund straight away and that I would need to call on the next working day to arrange this. Not happy as I paid in advance in good faith so I feel like I have been ripped off.

They are brilliant, timing, car and service quality are 5 star. Our driver Tony, was very polite and he has comfortable driving skill. Thanks for tonight.

No cab company is perfect, but they are I suppose better than walking. Especially when its raining. Or snowing. Or in a blizzard. Or something like that. Actually, or even when its too hot. They have air-con in most of their motors. Yeah OK, that ain't much use in a blizzard. But it is when its hot. Like it was a couple of weeks back. All sorts of drivers though. Some are stupid, some are OK. I spose much like any other cab company. But, unlike the previous review, I would use them again, but I wont recommend them to anyone, as if I do, they might get too busy and I might not get a cab myself.

Never ever book with Metro, when I booked with them I was told the journey was going to cost £107 and when the driver turned up he refused to go further until we have paid £86 going and return would be £120. Spoke to the office and they said they could do nothing about it. If the score could be minus I would give them that.

Worst ever taxi service ever. Booked for 12:15, nothing arrived. Parents waited for over 1.5 hours and were 2 hours late for my party. Terrible, I wish that I could award 0.

DO NOT USE!!! They are the worsst taxi service i have ever come across. They might be a little cheaper but that is also the quailty of service you are privided with. Those answering the phone are not helpful when they get it wrong and they are never ever on time. Very unreliable and unhelpful. My score is actually 0 not 1 star.

If I could I could leave zero stars. I rung this company 18:00pm and was quoted a fixed prices of £20 from Hertford to Harlow. Later in the evening I went onto their app and booked a cab, 4 times which was at a fixed price in which was cancelled every time! I then called myself to explain that I had been quoted a price numerous times. When I then rung in person to see why my booking was cancelled each time, the woman on the phone was very unhelpful and told me that my cab would be £30 even though I had explained to her that I had been quoted £20 5 times!! She was very unresponsive and unwilling to follow what had been quoted to me online and on the phone. I have screen shots of them quoting me a fixed priced. I wont be calling this company again where they offer one service at a fixed price and charge another! Please future customers be aware of this and make sure you get clarification on your price when booking a cab.

The Driver with this phone number, +447704776098 is a cheat. He told me the fare from Harlow to London Heathrow would be about £120, he then went on to ask my Aunty to pay £140, denying that he said £120. When my Aunty opted to pay by card, he asked her to pay £10 extra. Liar, and cheat!!!

This company is by far the most reliable cab service, BUT prices are around £1.20 more than STS to Hatfield Heath and when using them twice a day everyday it all adds up. Great service every time so cant fault them on service and would recommend if you have somewhere important to get to.

Hotel booked my cab with this company which arrived on time my driver was patient and helpful

Absolutely fuming about being changed nearly £30 for a 6 minute journey last night. My husband took our children in a cab that left 10 minutes before me from another cab company and it cost £11! Literally a 2 mile journey. I could have, and obviously should have, walked it. The taxis driver said it was because he had to come from Stortford. Since when have cab companies started charging you for a journey before you even got in the cab! If they would have told me that when I ordered I wouldn't have booked with them.

Service is fabulous, very kind customer service and effective drivers.

Likely to be similar to my experience in West Essex, highly irregular. They gave my pre-booked cab to someone else. Not to be trusted at all.

I have called this service, was told "I am there in a moment" and after 45 minutes (!!) nobody came. When I called back, I was informed, this behavior is completely normal. Well, if you do not care about your customers, you probably do not mind I share my experience. It was not a pleasure and I will make sure not to call you ever again.

I was driven home by a lovely chap in a black Mazda. We had a really interesting conversation about Stevenage FC. Good driving and he even let me off 20p! Thanks Broxbourne Station Cars!

There can be a long queue leaving the station car park during peak times - Broxbourne Station Cars are dangerous and rude! They cut across lanes and push into the front of the queue. They're quick to expect you to let them in and out of the station car park but never let you go in return. Sometimes they even drive the wrong way up the one-way path down to the station building!

Disgusting service. Recorded the driver and the way he spoke to me and my friends so that I can show the station, never am I ever getting into a cab with them again. I felt scared, three 22 year old women with the driver swearing at us and making us feel uneasy. Do not use Broxbourne station cars.

Short wait and the price seemed fair
