Jake's Cars are a local taxi service near me and were recommended by my son. I use them on a regular basis as I have some trouble walking. The service they provides brilliant. The lady that answers the phone, Debbie, is very nice and the drivers are smartly dressed, friendly and always turn up on time. I would recommenced them to others for the great service.

Jake's Cars are a local taxi company to me that I have been using for a few months now, and the service with them is always excellent. The staff are very friendly and they always turn up on time, if there is any reason they may be a little later than expected they let me know which is great. I cant fault them at all and would recommend them to others.

Got a taxi just now location. Was a straight road down 1 mile and cost £9 started at £5.30. Before midnight how can these charges be charged. Have had your same company charge less for the same journey. Still gave your driver £10 but dont understand the extortionate prices

Great service at fair prices. You get a text to say the reg of the taxi as it pulls up so you know you are safe to get in. I left my duty-free bag in the cab by mistake and the driver was honest enough to hand it to the office. I have used them for years now and highly recommend them.

Appalling - unprofessional and can't drive.

Taxi was late. Driver didnt apologise. Missed the train because of it. Terrible service. Avoid.

The worst taxi service in the UK! I can't understand why they're still allowed to operate. Made advanced booking (as broadly advertised on their taxis "Advanced Booking Only") and gave them custom for three months. When I informed them that I wouldn't need their services during the Christmas break but would require it after that, this rude woman bluntly told me that they can't offer me advanced booking anymore! When asked why, she rudely offered a flimsy excuse that it's due to road works! Flabbergasted, I told her that taxis were arriving on time for us and that it was fine. She refused. When school reopened, her colleague reinstated our advanced booking. First week was fine. 2nd week, a taxi arrived on a non-booked day. I reminded the driver of my booked days. Later called United Taxis to confirm that their drivers were aware of my booked days. Their response - my booking had been cancelled. Why? Because I didn't use a taxi that I had NOT booked for! Is this in the UK?!! Shambolic!!!

Very Poor!! I booked a Cab several hours before it was needed. It was late then cancelled saying the driver was unable to find me; we where in the the Crowne Plaza Hotel Crawley, you can see the place from space!!! No call to find where we where, just left in limbo and missed the last train back to London. Called to inform and offer feedback and got no apology just a not my problem attitude. I wont be using this firm again and would recommend anyone else steer clear. J Johnson 17.12.2018

Absolutely terrible service!!! I booked a car for 08:20 to get to work with time to spare but 10 mins after the car was meant to arrive I get a call from the driver who has only just left to pick me up! Eventually after 3 further phone calls to give the driver directions he picks me up 25 mins late. A journey that should have got me to work by 08:40 actually took until 09:10 and I was charged £13 for the privilege! No apologies from the driver either!!

I'm bloody fuming Have been collecting Metro taxi stamps (crawley) for a while now have 22 stamps, you need 10 for 5 pounds off your next ride Metro will not honour them because they're not all on the same card!!!!! I will not be using Metro any more and I would not recommend!! Very unhelpful staff surely in today's day and age would be good to keep a dedicated customer?
