Top company, have used a couple of times and never had a issue and always on time which makes a change from other companies used!

What an awful experience. Smoky, uncomfortable taxis but the worst points were 1. They didn't turn up when booked in advance- we called and they came late but we were then late for our appointment 2. They charged us nearly double the price quoted on the phone and were completely lacking in concern when we dared to argue about the price. Never again - there are many other good taxi companies around the area

First time trying to use this company and I won't bother again. I called about 1.5 hours before I needed a pick up from our local station and they asked me to pay in advance which I was happy to do but when we got off the train at our local station the taxi wasn't there. I called and was informed that they had just finished a job but were still 15-20 mins away. The walk home takes about the same time so my husband and i just walked home in the pitch black. Rather infuriatingly, I was told I couldn't have a refund straight away and that I would need to call on the next working day to arrange this. Not happy as I paid in advance in good faith so I feel like I have been ripped off.

They are brilliant, timing, car and service quality are 5 star. Our driver Tony, was very polite and he has comfortable driving skill. Thanks for tonight.

No cab company is perfect, but they are I suppose better than walking. Especially when its raining. Or snowing. Or in a blizzard. Or something like that. Actually, or even when its too hot. They have air-con in most of their motors. Yeah OK, that ain't much use in a blizzard. But it is when its hot. Like it was a couple of weeks back. All sorts of drivers though. Some are stupid, some are OK. I spose much like any other cab company. But, unlike the previous review, I would use them again, but I wont recommend them to anyone, as if I do, they might get too busy and I might not get a cab myself.

I would recommend your cabbie for all your needs especially airports, very professional friendly polite drivers, never late always at least 15 minutes early.

After my 85 year old Mum got stranded and then rather lost in Chelmsford after the 2 hourly bus service was cancelled, by chance asked My Cabbie driver directions, was told he was actually going near where she lived to do a pick up, he brought her all the way home to her front door at no charge, would like to thank him very much for helping her, very rare these days!

TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL - LEFT STRANDED . Booked 2 return journeys (one Friday, one Saturday) to go to Creamfields music festival in June. Booked at the end of April. Confirmed all details (pick up times/locations, no.of pax) with the driver 3 days before the event. He said he had a driver off with Covid, I asked if there was a possibility of letting us down - was told all would defo be OK. He turned up on the first day in a vehicle for 8 - we were 10. Then he told us he wouldn't be doing the return journey - for both days. When asked why, he told us he had a couple of airport runs (obvs sacked us off to do those instead). When asked what he thought we were going to do to get home, he said we could get a cab off the venue's rank. The whole reason for booking in advance was precisely to avoid having to wait in the rank queue. Had to scrabble around to get another cab company to get the 2 extra passengers into Chelmsford and to get home on both days. All round nightmare.

Drivers need to learn how indicators work! And remember what the speed limit is on Broomfield Road... It's 30mph...

My family have used 'Your Cabbie' for over a year now and would just like to say a big thank you to them for always going the extra mile and for providing such excellent service. Nothing ever seems to much trouble even at short notice, the vehicles are always clean and the drivers always polite.

I used to use these on a regular basis but tonight has made me decide to stop using them from now on... waited for car to turn up in a small cul de sac - no vehicles entered, waited 20/30 mins then walked out of cul de sac to find taxi waiting and to to be told they had been waiting at least 20 mins... I gave address and house number on booking? Why would you not try knocking? Or is that too much energy these days? When I got in the taxi the whole journey I was told that it was My fault and that they had missed another booking because of me.... this is NOT good customer service and made me feel awful, even though I was waiting at the door for a car to pull up - that never did! It pulled up outside of cul de sac and there was no way I would have heard it.. there is a door bell and a knocker you could have tried! But no, you would rather make someone feel guilty for calling and booking with you then not knowing you have arrived because you are too lazy to knock on the door. Shame.

Woeful phone operator

I have always been very pleased with the company for years . But shocked when they charged £16 . Because there was 5 people. I expected around £10. We were charged the same fare on the return journey which was after midnight by a black cab. Very disappointed with them

Dont bother to pre-book they dont turn up. 2 phone calls were needed to get a car to arrive 20 minutes late for a fare booked 24 hours in advance and confirmed earlier the same day. Failed to turn up at all for the return journey. They just dont care.

Appalling service. We rang and asked for a taxi, only to be told to wait 35 minutes. An hour and a half later we get a call to say our taxi is there, which it isn't. We then ring back to be told it was cancelled. Rude, non apologetic and bad service. Will never use again or recommend. Awful.

Needed a cab urgently as a 92 year old relative had had a fall and I needed to get to her house. Was told there would be a 45 minute wait. Will not use Banyards again.

Phoned them with two hours notice. Rang them when they were nearly ten minutes late 'Just on the way to you sweetheart' rang after a further 10 minutes and told her this was turning into a joke and she put the phone down on me! Crap service.

Absolute disgrace of a cab driver who he tell me is also the manager, left my daughter and boyfriend stranded 3 miles from home after midnight and took her phone because her bank card was refused had he driven the 3 miles I could have paid but I'm now expected to do a 2 hour drive to collect phone and pay bill as they will not bring the phone and my daughter doesn't drive.

Absolutely shocked. Asked for a cab from Broomfield Hospital to Littley Green (4.3 miles away) quoted £25 to get there, so shocked but I agreed. When I phoned back to query the price, the dispatcher promptly cancelled the booking and was disgustingly rude. Will never use these guys again

Just used this service for a Stansted airport run. Competitively priced, cheaper than others taxi company and prompt professional service -even at 4.30am! Wouldnt hesitate to use again and recommend.

I agree I had the same experience

Out on my bike cut up and assaulted by the driver. The man was not fit to drive a supermarket trolley,, let alone 2 tonnes of metal and passengers. Googled the company to ring them and report his behaviour, they promised to deal with him and ring back - they didn't. The icing on the cake was that the number was a personal number that cost over £1 minute. So the incident spoilt my ride and cost me over £5. Avoid.

Driver went a very long route from Chelmsford to Wickford, ended up in Billericay! Complained to Fareway and they defended their driver and offered no apology! Won't be using this company again that's for sure. Do not trust.

Absolutely awful! Booked tonight at 10pm for a taxi for 12pm! For a taxi from Maldon to tiptree was told the price of £26 however they Turned up 40 minuites late and told us £40. Absolutely shocking service, taxi driver was unfriendly and rude. DO NOT USE!

Never use this taxi company. The driver Andy was late picking us up from the Harvard Inn. The driver Andy was supposed to pick us up later from Crondon Park but never turned up. Leaving us out in the cold.

we pre-ordered a cab and was given a fixed priced for the journey. on the day re-confirmed and reminded them of the exact address and told them not to mistake with similar one nearby. Cab 15 mins late - at wrong address. Driver then tells us will have to go on meter not set price. Eventually got hold of the office who agreed set fee but driver not happy & moaned all the way & told us how unfair we were when we paid the agreed price. Very unpleasant experience - will not use this unprofessional firm again - I would gladly have paid a bit more if that was what we agreed but on principle stuck to set price agreed. I always tip cabbies - not this time.
