Taxis in G11

It seems to be a regular occurrence in previews reviews. Being severely disabled I ordered a taxi to be told 40 minutes. An hour passed, so I called back and spoke to a nice girl who advised she would send driver back to me. then 20 minutes later I got.. yes you guessed it the same rude unhelpful idiot on the phone advising "that's not the same driver that's coming out to you". So again I asked on three separate occasions of the drivers whereabouts as my taxi tracker said five minutes 20 minutes ago. the gent then advised he will not tell me roughly the time in addition to an hour i would wait. I asked for the name of the firms'owners for a complaint, only to be told to call back on Monday and speak to the Office Manager. As I say from the above comments this guy has a record of being like this with customers and regular ones like me. he is obviously in the wrong job. I hope my complaint is taken seriously and I am supplied with the Owner's details. In addition I am contacting GCC

Last week I phoned a taxi when it was snowing and I waited nearly 2 hours for them to phone me back at 11 oclock at night to say they couldnt send a car to get me because they only had 1 driver on and he had decided to go home just before I was to get picked up . I had phoned the operator twice during this wait to ask if I would be waiting much longer so I could start to arrange other ways to get home but they continued to tell me it would be on its way soon only to leave me stranded at half 11 at night baring in mind Im 15!! I decided to brush that off as something that happens as it was snowing but today ( 5 mins ago ) I phoned once again to actually get to my gran whos shielding with her prescription so I phoned the taxi so see how long it would be and the man was nothing but rude , horrible and cheeky telling me I had been picked up so basically what do I want ? WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN

Just got off a flight back of 9 last night,got outside phoned a taxi woman said ok get one along wait at drop off zone A so thats what we did,half hour goes by phones her back oh we dont have one for that name,then changed her tune yes we do sorry hes just coming into airport now,another 20 mins passes and this time she didnt even answer the phone hope her boss does something about it it was absolutely ridiculous and all the lying,could have just said they didnt have a taxi I would have got somewhere else,defo wont be using them again!!

I had a lovely driver yesterday (Kulvinder) he gave me a free ride home from school and I was really happy and wanted to thank him and his company and it was so warm so I was able to buy ice cream with my money

Great taxi drivers. Always very chatty. Use them a lot. Our regular taxi company. Although i went to call for a taxi and the number has changed? So now i need to use ones i dont like?! Any help

We have used Station Taxis for the last three years and having booked two taxis two days earlier than required we expected to be picked up and collected as booked. Happy to take us on the outward journey they then neglected to pick us back up for the return journey! The operator was rude and actually had the audacity to hang up on me!View less

Been trying two hours to get taxi.Twice job booked auto and once control all three bookings vanished from system after long waits.Phoned them several times rinning 10 mins solid answer then deliberately hung up.Now trying fourth time not much hope wont be cancelled again.NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

Ive used this firm for years and have always found both the controllers and the drivers friendly and courteous. Used other firms and they dont quite match up , especially in their knowledge of the Glasgow area.These guys know Glasgow like the back of their hand which is refreshing , given that a lot of drivers know just use a sat nav. Would deffo recommend

Totally not recomendable. Rang up to met with the manager himself and being hung up three times! If this is the management what can I expect from the bussines? I am more than dissapointed and as woman is outrageous to have to stand such maners . I just wish to know how to make my message clear enough because this is Scotland and a too developed country for this

Can't thank staff and drivers enough after sleeping in for my airport run , driver personally knocked my door and waited not a problem and got me to airport on time would Defo recommend x

Dreadful company. There is a reason this cab company have 1.5 stars out of 5! Unreliable and rude...everything a cab company should be and nothing they are not. Have let me down too many times...never using again and would certainly not recommend to anyone!

Smart Drivers & Prompt Service, Fab app

Prebooked via the app to be picked up at 00:30, called them at 00:45 to be told 15min. Called at 1:08 to be told cab cancelled as I hadn't answered my phone, when I challenged this as had phone in hand she couldn't deal with it and kept repeating the lie. Eventually said another car could be up to an hour which is unacceptable when prebooked and 2 females sitting outside SWG3 on a wall. Ended up flagging an independent and paying double to get home. Got a call from a driver at 1:47 stating he'd arrived but we were in the other cab by that point. Was happier giving the independent the money than this shower of incompetent cowboys. I feel sorry for the drivers who worked for reputable and reliable Hampden Cabs and will now be losing fares due to the inability to run a booking system or deal with customers.

Absolutely hopeless!!!! Tell lies about where yr taxi is. App no good as it's behind time.

Worst driver ever nearly caused a crash twice tried to blame other driver was verbally abusive to other driver who did no wrong swearing was rediculous dont ever use them drivers need training on customer service and road skills

Dont use unless you want to get stranded. Prebooked two weeks before an event and was left without any transport.Had to pay a black cab a fortune to get home.They are chancers.

Abusive driver with a horrible attitude. I had told him I would have the payment made once I arrived at the destination, as I did not have cash on me. However, he kicked me out in the middle of the motorway as I didnt have any money on me until I had to beg him while I was historically crying as my phone was battery has died and I had no other way of getting home at around 11.30pm last night. He finally agreed to take me and said if I did not pay the full amount he would call the police (which was unnecessary). Once I reached the destination and made the payment I gave him the money, that he overcharged me and then he throw the 70p change in my face like I was rubbish to making me feel horrible. I normally have good experiences with this companies drivers but this ishonestly the worst I've felt from a taxi driver while trying to get home in the middle of the night with no way of contacting anyone to find another option to reach him. One to avoid. They lure you in with a cheap quote, then decide to charge you whatever they want on the day.

Constantly late. Better getting public transport if you want to be on time

I use Braehead Radio Cars on a regular basis for my business and I have also used them for personal use I find them to be proffesional, friendly and they arrive ontime.

Needed a taxi to get to Anniesland in under 30 minutes, a 10 minute taxi ride and a 35 minute walk, it took around 30 minutes for the taxi to arrive, so got there late.

Booked a taxi and explained I was a woman travelling alone. Told 10 minutes. After 20 called to say still waiting at a quiet train station. Explained I wasn't happy as on my own and should get first available taxi. Was told by operator not to be rude and she hung up on me. Taxi eventually came but I was not a happy chappie. First time out on my own at night. We do not have transport in Bearsden at night and would have expected better service. Puts you off going out at night!!!

I work in the Bearsden and never have a problem getting a taxi to and from i have worked in Bearden four years travel from Stepps in a Station taxi every morning and night and never have I ever met an angry or rude driver yet I can only presume that the bad reviews are from other local taxi services this should be addressed by local councils

Booked a taxi for a friend was quoted £7 and driver charged £18, because they stopped at a cash point??? Avoid

Booked a taxi the night before and explained it was for a hospital surgical procedure. Taxi did not come on time and had to phone the company 4 times. Was hung up on by the operator. Ended up having to walk to great western road to get picked up. Taxi driver denied any fault and when I said I didnt want to argue about it as was going into hospital for an operation and was feeling anxious, I was told to shut up. I left the taxi in tears. I will never use this company again nor recommend them. Absolutely appalling.

I honestly don't know where to start. They are an absolute disgrace. How can you have a taxi company and not provied taxis? Prebooking a car doesn't mean it will show up? Are you serious? Woman waiting for cars at all hours of the night and being told just because you made a booking days ago, doesn't mean it will be fulfilled. They should be ashamed and shut down or at very least, all staff retrained in customer relations and customer retention. Avoid if you want to avoid a headache.

Used app for taxi home from hospital but driver went to wrong place then gave me all sorts of abuse and didn't even take me home they're terrible

Do not use the driver didnt wait even a minute and as soon as i walked out the door he drove off - called cust service and the driver lied saying he waited 6 mins and she told if ur not happy find another company and hung up on me ..... do not use

Avoid this taxi firm at all costs! I booked a taxi in advance using their app. The booking was confirmed, but did not show! I phoned the company up only to find out that there were no taxis available!! I missed the hospital appointment that I was waiting months for. App will be deleted from my phone. Im back up using Uber! Not professional! Avoid!

Booked taxi for 2.20am to Buchanan Bus Station to catch Edinburgh Airport bus at 3am. Taxi didn't turn up and no-one answered the phone. We were panicking that we would miss our bus/flight/holiday. We did miss the bus but fortunately found another taxi company who got us to the Bus Station for the 4am bus and we made our flight by the skin of our teeth! Phoned to complain when we got home and were promised they would look into it and get back to us. Still waiting. Never again will we book this company, they nearly cost us over £2000 for a missed holiday.

What has happened to this companys service? Used to be gold service now bronze - take bookings but can never guarantee!!!

Ive just (this minute) booked a taxi with this company because someone actually answered the phone and I was able to speak to a real person and ask about the cost in advance. Every other company asked me to book online, but I didnt know how much it was going to be so I will be using this company now.

hospitals use this company if patients require a taxi home. Ive yet to come across decent service from these people. Patients (some of which have poor mobility) are sitting for longer than 30 minutes waiting for a taxi, only to be told the taxi has been cancelled or went to the wrong building and nobody bothered to notify the hospital leaving the patients sitting for ages. As for the people who answer the calls, rude and ignorant folk with a bad attitude. These folk clearly cant do their job! Shocking!

I have only used this company about half a dozen times. On each occasion the car arrived really quickly and the drivers were always polite and helpful.

Contract Taxi - Same time pick up to and from work everyday. Taxi is rarely on time and when you call the operator they are rude, condescending and unable to help at all. They tell you it's on the way, it's round the corner, it will only be another 5 minutes and boom you've waited 45 minutes. I could walk faster than the time it takes the taxi to get there on time. They keep saying there are no available drivers. I don't know how that is possible considering that it's a contract and it's the exact same pick up time to and from work. They know the time in advance and still are unable to turn up on time. When you ask them how they can resolve this so it doesn't happen again, they are rude, don't have an answer and simply can't solve the issue. Useless taxi company I strongly advise not to use.

Brilliant got taxi to work at parkhead on the old firm. And the driver was brilliant best ever drivers are fantastic thank you keep it up ps everyone in this drivers car is Betty belter xx

Poor customer service have left two reviews in Jan 18. Stating the poor level from female phone staff. Which have been deleted. Funny how the truth hurts. Taxi driver are good. Lost my weekly custom. Will not be back

The worst service ever would not rely on them at all, try to phone back and it just rings out?

Taxi always arrived quickly and they call you to let you know they are on their way.
