Terrible firm driver was rude. Swearing in car even was SMOKING a cigg!!! Paid him £25 upfront taxi was £17.60 on meter didn't give no change- I rang office said they was ringing me back didn't!!!! Never use again

The taxi driver personally insulted me and also almost suffocated my cat in her cat carrier by putting her in the boot and refused to take shelf down so she could breathe

Overcharged me for a 4.5 mile journey by 6 pound more than anyone else I wasnt allowed to leave the taxi till it was paid had to borrow money to pay the driver and the controller was rude

I will not be recommending this taxi company to any of my friends. obviously the coronavirus crisis has made them a lot of money and now they are picking and choosing which customers they want based on your postcode as a form of snuggery.

What can I say about A1 Taxis well if you want a company that is so. well off that it can refuse to do a job on the premise because it's Friday prayers the driver will be going off with a minibus. because he needs to go to mosque and where's I appreciate that he may have owned the minibus data so needed to move my paintings yesterday and other art works into my new studio space. I got the distinct impression I just did not want to do the job and by trying to come up with not very good excuses for wider could not come out I live in Deighton . and provide me with a minibus that would have had plenty of space. to put all my valuable items into the minibus. in the past i have ever reliable taxi firms locally. that have provided me with a minibus to transport items in. I did not like the way in which ever spoken to on the phone and I was telling them how big my art works where . I just got the feeling they just didn't want to do the job. and I will not be recommending this

I booked a taxi from perrys to my home which was fine driver was lovely then later I had to do the return trip back to perrys and I didnt feel safe in the return trip driver going too fast esp by the bus station on the ring road I was glad to get out of cab at the end a bad journey will not be using lockwood cabs again

Absolutely appalling service. Booked taxi to collect company director from Manchester Airport at 22.15 on 25/06/18, paid by card there and then over the phone. No taxi appeared at the airport and when i called their switchboard at 23.30, they advised no taxi had been dispatched as they had written down the flight number incorrectly. I asked why they had not used one of the three contact numbers given at the time of booking to clarify the situation rather than leaving the passenger stranded at the airport, to which they replied, we lost the numbers and the flight number. I was advised a driver was 20 minutes away from the airport and he would be diverted, and that i must call the office in the morning and speak with the owner who would reimburse some of the fare to compensate. When i called the following day i was told there would be no refund and as id paid by card and not cash, and because i had told them the flight number over the phone and not written it myself. Extremely rude staff

£10 for a 4 mile journey. We were charged £7 for the same trip with Holmfirth cars.

4 mile journey at 5pm: £10. They told us the cost upfront (so it's not a one-off driver ripping us off). We are new to the area so assumed that must just be going the rate. We got Holmforth cars back who charged £7 and they said that it's disgusting we were charged £10. We know who we will use from now on!

Excellent service the driver on time he made sure my kids were seated and belted up before we set off ( safety first which not many taxi drivers care about) he helped getting my little girls pram out of the car. And unload my shopping I highly recommend them thank you

Whilst visiting Sowerby Bridge I called A Class Taxis. They arrived straight away no waiting around. Fast service, keep you updated whilst waiting via text message system. Would highly recommend.
