Extortionate prices, late and dangerous driving! Would not reccomend!

I used TM last year for a trip to and from Manchester, as they offered a very competitive rate. Despite confirming the pick up date and time THREE times and paying a deposit, they failed to show on pick up. I allowed up to fifteen minutes after the agreed pick up time before calling the company. When I spoke to them I was advised that the driver was on their way and had been 'stuck in traffic'. Over 30mins later he arrived and had told us that he had been called in last minute to do the job..they had forgot our booking. This subsequently made me and my party late for a meal, in which we lost our table and booking. I wrote to TM with my disappointment via email and a letter recorded delivery. I never had a response or an apology. The Customer service and the reliability is shocking. Avoid TM PH to avoid disappointment!

Driver refused to take us all the way home because he said the road would be Icey we assured him that the road was ok but he would not listen.So we had to get out and walk, it was midnight and very cold, but worse was to come because we were nearly hit by a car as the lane was narrow.

I cant express how unprofessional and rude this company is. I have used this company on a number of occasions as they are local and I like to support local businesses, plus they have a couple of friendly drivers, but I simply cannot continue to use such a poor and unreliable service with such rude phone staff. Today for example, I ordered a taxi to work for 8.20. I booked this at around 7.30 am to avoid any issues and was told the taxi was confirmed. Just after 8.20 I rang asking where my taxi was and I was told it would be around another 10 minutes with no apology. I waited 10 minutes and was notified by the automatic phone message that the taxi would be another 6 minutes late meaning that I had to cancel since I would be late to work. I rang up to cancel and the phone operator hung up on me for cancelling! So rude.

Always punctual very friendly drivers cheap fares would recommend this service to anyone . Used on a regular basis .Can b a bit confusing when trying to get picked up from a new venue as the automated system tries to send to your last pick up point .kev in norton

Watched one of the drivers throwing litter out of his window in woodseats. Poor image for the company. Driver of a blue skoda Octavia SG59 RLV. I'd appreciate his manager pointing out how unacceptable that is.

One of the best taxi services in sheffield always on time and friendly drivers not like city rude and un helpful.

Absolute rip off. Didnt go by meter reading. Went by negotiating a price hahah. His number taxi is 1481. Dont trust him.

Called today, in total agony, to get a taxi to the A & E. Didn't have any cash so asked to pay by card. The receptionist was exceptionally rude and aggressive. She took no time to help me even though I said and she could hear, how much pain I was in. I've used Excell for years, I won't be doing it again!!!!!!!

Cant normally fault, but some drivers go long way round, for example Tues 26th Feb, booked a journey that's normally £3.50 driver went longest way round and it cost me £5 I wasn't happy. I told excel on their feedback but no refund or apology was given.

I suffer with mental health and so does my best friend whoms anxiety is alot worse, we were panicking about not making it to an appointment, and the driver Muhammed was absolutely brilliant and friendly and chatty and made our journey so much more pleasent and was just over all a great service

I had a taxi back from pinxton with a small child who was not happy hence screaming I apologised to the driver for this his name was Paul had a Southern accent he said to my face it's OK however I have discovered that this driver told another drive Allan Clark I think his name is that he wanted to get hold of my child his words were drag him over the seat and belt /hit him If this is the type of people that drive these taxis then they seriously need to get rid of such people and for the other driver to find it highly amusing he should also be ashamed of himself I am in two minds to contact those who have the power to sort this problem out Bolsover as I am sure he wouldn't threaten adults absolutely disgusting if nothing is done then I will seek advice from Bolsover but not all their drivers are like that

I've just had a very pleasant journey with Mick - Car 20. He was very professional and even managed to swerve an idiot who was trying to dodge the traffic. Highly recommended!

Avoid. Two different prices from Alfreton Train Station private hire was more expensive than on the meter and less traffic

We rang after 15 mins to be told they were behind but were on the way and would be a further 15 mins. Half an hour later still no taxi so we rang again to be told they were on their way, still no taxi turned up we were stood out in the cold and the rain the service is the worst I will never use them again

Rip off. Changed the location on where I wanted to go once within the same village and he had a massive go at me and told me I was F ing him about and f ing him off. So rude and horrible. Would never use again.

Absolute rip off. Charged us £22 for one taxi and £32 for the other on tariff 3 at 10pm on a Sunday night to travel 6 miles.
