    • Avoid if you can, unreliable, incorrect quote, uncomfortable vehicle, expensive I rang the County Cars number (always provided a good service) to book a return trip from Nailsea to Cleeve for 4 people. I was advised I needed a 6 seater at a cost of £21 as we were not allowed a front seat passenger. Our taxi arrived, a little late but only had 5 seats. The driver offered to get us a 6 seater but time did not allow this option. I queried the price I was going to pay and was advised it was dependant on the meter - not what I was told when I booked! The metered price was in excess of £21 and the driver contacted base and I agreed to pay £18. Shortly after I had a lengthy call from Techxi trying to explain their decision to send a 4 seater taxi and the bottom line was they were not picking us up as I had been abusive! We returned in a modern, comfortable, Uber for £11.

    • What a rip off! Father in law, charged £5 for home trip compared to £3 outward journey with different company. Then given 3 old £1 coins in change. Really low he is partially sighted! Reading other comments, usual standard of service! Do not use.

    • Never again.... Last week a guy ripped me off, didn't give me enough change and drove off; phoned up the office and they said that they couldn't do anything. Just ordered a taxi and after 5 second of waiting the guy drove off.... phoned up the taxi rank asking for another taxi and they hung up. Terrible service!

    • 9am appointment, booked a taxi for 8:40 nothing showed up, rang at 8:50 and they said your taxi arround the corner, 8:53 rang and rang no answer, 9:15 nothing, 9:20 a globe taxi turns up

    • Charged me £11 for a journey that costs a fiver. Complained and got a little refund, sent emails to management who didn't respond. Driver obviously knew he was overcharging. Theives. Horrible company. Don't trust them in the slightest.

    • Booked them WHILE ON the train 1 hour prior to arrival at station. No sign whatsoever of the taxi I'd booked. I had an urgent engagement that I could not miss. Walked round to the taxi office, where 5 of their drivers started arguing amongst themselves, in which one of their drivers number 195 was extremely aggressive towards me while I watched on in sheer bewilderment. Was then told to wait by a bus stop by one of the over-weight bubble gum chewing girls in their "office", finally got in the taxi some 25 minutes later!!! Not happy. This firm is a waste of time. Avoid.

    • Must say I feel extremely disappointed in this company, booked (as usual) via App, taxi was late therefore I missed the train. Phone operator blatantly lied saying driver was dropping off, driver proceeded to state he was asked to cover job when I called. Would suggest Star taxis at lest they state they cant get you a certain times

    • ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!! . Twice I have used them and twice I have missed the train. The last time I refused to pay because the office had promised that they would get me to the train on time. My train to Paddington was scheduled to leave at 15.39 so I booked the taxi for 15.00 (usually a 7 minute ride from my home). At 15.03 I telephone the office and was told the driver was just dropping someone else off and would be with me in the next 5 mins. I explained again about catching the train and was told they would get me there on time. The driver eventually turned up at 15.17 and then we hit traffic. I MISSED MY TRAIN!! I refused to pay because I consider that they broke the contract and the driver threatened to call the police!!! I DID NOT PAY. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED TO BE ON TIME!!!!! RUBBISH!!
