    • Haven't used this firm but friends tried to book a taxi tonight ..over an hour late..phoned a couple of times to check where they where and told round the corner ..for an hour! Woman on the book put the phone down on my friends 3 times ..some service ..don't bother ! 1 star cos can't do no star !

    • I would recommend this taxi firm , They picked my daughter and her friend from Pontypool town , sent me a text when they were leaving their base , who was picking them up , a lady called Katie , colour reg and make of car . A far safer way of getting a taxi .

    • I really can't believe this business is still running after all the years of abusing customers!! I still remember how bad it was - even 17 years ago!! Please do not use this company, give your money to someone who deserves it and provides a reliable service. Seriously bad..

    • Made my wife late for work as ordered a taxi sent a text to confirm but did not turn up and its not the 1st time they have done this they are a shocking taxi firm use another btaxi company if you can at all costs.

    • would it be easier to change the order of pick ups again? I angrily told her that I dont care who they pick up first but will they be there in 2 minutes time as the time we booked- yes hes on his way!! I then called my friend and the driver was not there until 8 minutes after our booking time! The taxi ride was slow and the driver took a longer mileage route to our venue making us cutting it extremely fine for the wedding we were attending!!!

    • came so I called them 1 hour later to be told they couldnt get through to the driver and that the price would change but wouldnt be “extortionately more” and to call her back in 15minutes. When she called me back (30minutes before our pick up time) she told me that the price would now be £160 and kept repeating that there was nothing that could be done about the price whatsoever and that the drivers are self employed. I contested and argued the fact that this is their fault, they never expressed that they didnt know the venue and just assumed it was somewhere else, only because of me confirming did they ask about the location, the price was double and extortionate snd that they had given us no choice in the matter and this was only 25 minutes before pick up leaving us no time to arrange other transport. The woman then said that due to the location they will change the order of pick ups. Then 2 minutes before the first pick up was due she called me to say that actually would it be

    • Absolutely disgusted with Cwmbran Cars. Made a booking one week in advance for a three location pick up (6.5miles and 0.9miles apart) to a venue 16miles away and return that night. The booking was confirmed and a price of £80 given- quite steep I thought initially but it was to be split between three couples. That night a taxi driver called me about picking me up- they had dispatched someone one week early but when I called them on the Monday, they apologised and confirmed I still had the original booking. On the morning of the booking I called them to confirm our taxi for that day, the times and pick up points - at this point she asked me for the location again to only tell me that they didnt know where that was and just assumed this whole time it was somewhere in Newport when theyd already been given the address initially!! This was 2 hours before our journey was planned- she told me that the price would change and shed call me back within 30minutes. No phone call came so I called

    • Phone operator was horrible! I made a simple mistake and when I rang to explain and apologise she was rude ,nasty and insulting ! . Her attitude was a disgrace. I understand the frustration, however I suffer with mental illnesses and the way she spoke to me could have very well lead to anything from a panic attack to a few days off work. I hope shes pleased with herself behaving like a bully towards a once valued customer! Never using cwmbran cars again ! Im absolutely gutted, appalled and disgusted.

    • I personally recommend this company yes sometimes during the rush hour they can be late by a few minutes but the drivers are apologetic if late but on Christmas day I needed to get home was gonna be charged stupid money by other companies but mia;s got me home even though officially they were not running on Christmas day I recommend them.
