Taxis in Peasedown St. John, Bath, Avon

After numerous contacts with the company to confirm our booking, collection from Bath to Bristol airport went without a hitch. Unfortunately not the same can be said on our arrival at the airport 10 days later. After emailing, texting and leaving voicemail to confirm pick up at 0115 the day before and on the the day itself, no one was there or tried to contact us regarding our booking. Was left out of pocket and very annoyed in the middle of the night being left stranded. Will not be using them again.

I was phoned at 10pm to say that my airport pick up for 10am the next morning could not be done. After several contacts with the company in advance.I will NEVER use this company again and would recommend to anyone to avoid.

I had a left from Shepton to Bath buss station. The Driver was on my door 5 mins prior to picking time. He was so friendly and cooperative. The car was really clean, tidy & spacious. The fare was cheaper than anyone else. I can honestly recommend swift-cars to anyone for its excellent service

I had a left to Bristol airport on last Friday. The driver was well on time. He was cheerful and cooperative guy. The car was marvellous. The fare was less than all. Thanks and good luck swift-car.

We stayed in Bradford for two weeks at a time, two years running, and thought the service was wonderful! Maybe we got all the good drivers, but we used it many times, and they were terrific. We had no problems with the office either--very helpful and courteous. It was lovely to get off the train and be able to take a cab up the hill, rather than walk, after a long day. I don't think we ever waited more than five minutes.

In my experience they regularly don't collect on time, they don't advise the customer they are going to be late and they seem indifferent to the frustration and inconvenience their tardiness causes. I can't remember one apology for their poor service. A couple of the drivers have been very good, being both friendly and helpful, unfortunately they are let down (from a customers point of view) by what I perceive to be poor management/control at the office compounded by at least one rude, belligerent driver. Get one of the good drivers and you should be OK, otherwise I would either try a different company or walk!

Took booking wasnt told that prepayment was needed , said they wouldnt send anyone until paid through air pay - taxi was 40 mins late after two phone calls , lost table booking - took two payments £7 more than agreed - nightmare company !! Very iffy would never use again !!

Gross incompetence. Cab sent to wrong place twice. Daughter waited in rain and missed important appointment. Will not use again.

Fantastic service when I was concerned about my mother being stuck at Bath bus station and needing a lift back to Calne. All staff were as concerned as I was being that it was late at night, and they kept giving me updates by phone telling me when they had picked her up. Also, very reasonably priced considering it was after midnight and a fair distance. I will use them again and recommend them. Thank you V Cars!

Called for taxi and couldn't believe how rude the lady was. The taxi turned up 25 minutes after the time I booked it, meaning I missed my train. Called and asked if I could speak to manager and was told to 'get a life' and hung up on.

I booked 2 taxis from the city centre. I tried to track the first because it was late but we were told 'there was nobody there' I reordered it and asked for another one for me and a differeny freind going eleswhere and asked what tariff it would be on because it was now after 12 ... he had no idea what a tariff was... he said my first taxi would be after the second and I said no because that would mean a person to be left in town on their own waiting .. he said well wait regardless of that costing me more due to their mistake I eventually spoke to a supervisor who was sarcastic to me and did not specify when my taxi would be available then the taxi man turned up and recklessly drove in the middle of the road back back to my village alobg Aroads which I filmed The driver also took a bypasses in a different direction to my village and then argued how far away my house was that I have been living in for 25 years, same call office and drivers to Abbey Never again
