Had to take a chicken to Ilminster vets on short notice. Despite having to wait around for a long time for the appointment, Wood's Taxis were very understanding and supportive. Highly recommended

Had to walk home on the A303 for 1hr 30 following a wedding as they did not turn up and then refused to answer our calls. Im lucky im alive to tell the tale but it would be in this taxi firms hands if anything went wrong. Called FOUR times to confirm, they messed up my booking multiple times. They said they would send me email confirmation and never did, even when i had to call again to chase them. Absolutely awful service and they dont deserve to have a business that fails to deliver what they promised. There is a reason this taxi service has an awful star rating, save your time. If i could put minus stars, i would.

Shocking service, pre booked journey for my wifes birthday dinner spoilt by a no show. Called 3 times no answer and ended up driving, dont trust them. Very poor.

We called a day in advance and were quoted £6.50 one way and £10 for the return journey. On the day, the driver (Christine) put the meter on and made us pay £11.75 for the outward journey and £16.75 for the return for a four mile journey. When confronted with the quote given over the phone, she claimed this was an estimate and that the fare was ultimately decided by the meter, something she absolutely did not mention over the phone. This company is a duplicitous ripoff and I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

I've never been more scared in my life! Driving at 80mph along Ilminster bypass (60mph speed limit) & cutting into a space that was far too small. Thank goodness the car behind had good brakes.

Don't like the pre-pay over the phone policy! Can be dangerous when on a night out. Most of your business comes from drunk folk and you're asking them to pull out their bank card and read out all the numbers to you? Just so I can get 10miles down the road... mental!! Thanks for the trust guys!

I called many taxi firms on Saturday night.
