Taxis in SS6

Top company, have used a couple of times and never had a issue and always on time which makes a change from other companies used!

What an awful experience. Smoky, uncomfortable taxis but the worst points were 1. They didn't turn up when booked in advance- we called and they came late but we were then late for our appointment 2. They charged us nearly double the price quoted on the phone and were completely lacking in concern when we dared to argue about the price. Never again - there are many other good taxi companies around the area

First time trying to use this company and I won't bother again. I called about 1.5 hours before I needed a pick up from our local station and they asked me to pay in advance which I was happy to do but when we got off the train at our local station the taxi wasn't there. I called and was informed that they had just finished a job but were still 15-20 mins away. The walk home takes about the same time so my husband and i just walked home in the pitch black. Rather infuriatingly, I was told I couldn't have a refund straight away and that I would need to call on the next working day to arrange this. Not happy as I paid in advance in good faith so I feel like I have been ripped off.

They are brilliant, timing, car and service quality are 5 star. Our driver Tony, was very polite and he has comfortable driving skill. Thanks for tonight.

No cab company is perfect, but they are I suppose better than walking. Especially when its raining. Or snowing. Or in a blizzard. Or something like that. Actually, or even when its too hot. They have air-con in most of their motors. Yeah OK, that ain't much use in a blizzard. But it is when its hot. Like it was a couple of weeks back. All sorts of drivers though. Some are stupid, some are OK. I spose much like any other cab company. But, unlike the previous review, I would use them again, but I wont recommend them to anyone, as if I do, they might get too busy and I might not get a cab myself.

Disappointing service, got almost everything wrong, not recommended

i used to use wakering taxis a lot then some one recomended a2b taxis so couteouspolitealways on time and best of such good value for money and friendly

Take quite a while to arrive and are very expensive even for short distances but if you are in a rush OK.

Really good taxi service unlike other firms in Southend will definitely use again.

Crap crap , and crap ordered a taxi didn't turn up was told we didn't order for specified time , when we actually did , then they hung up as supposedly we where rude , when in actual fact they where rude to us , terrible service and awful customer service .

Terrible customer experience. Called a taxi at 03:11am. They said a 20 minute wait. Still waiting at 3:50am. Called them again and they said 10 minute wait. Called them again and they still couldnt provide a taxi. I had to walk from near Southend Airport to Thorpe Bay. I got home at 5:15am. DO NOT USE THIS TAXI COMPANY!!!

Absolutely awful experience. Was told that the taxi would arrive within 10-15 minutes. I was due to catch a train to make sure I made it to attend my daughters recital. The cab turned up nearly an hour later. Needless to say I missed the recital, and the cab wanted £14 for the fare !!

Disgraceful company controller Amber accused me of doing something I did not do and then blocked me, never checked any facts or even bother to ring me back just wanted to charge me extra for a fare I did not take my advice is use AC Taxis or one of the other taxi firms,

Brilliant service from new driver Graham today. I was a little anxious getting a taxi as its the first time I've used the service since I lost my mum Josie last month who was a regular customer with 333444, and little things trigger emotions. Graham was a good driver and took me to a hospital appointment ahead of schedule and being his first customer since starting I got the fare for free. Great initiative. Thanks 333444 Jenny

Terrible thieves my son knocked on cab window as he dropped his earphones as he got out cab drove off after 5 calls to the office and asking the cab to come back and he would pay for the cab to come back no woman was rude on the phone told my son it's his own fault my hisband then called and got the same response rude £200 Christmas present gone absolute disgrace woman has no people skills whatsoever

Best cab service in town. They do their best even when it's busy and keeps the customer informed as much as possible. Saturday nights are the busiest and sometimes take a little longer to get through but at least they actually answer the phone unlike the other companies in the area

This company has just left me waiting in the cold - again! No taxi! 333444 taxi Southend told me that the taxi was booked, however, despite checking with then beforehand, no taxi was waiting. I called after 5 minutes in the cold and was told that I was top of the list when a car became available. At this point I cancelled the triple three triple four taxi as I only have a 13 minute walk home and last time they made me wait, it was far far longer and no one ever came to pick me up.

Drivers need to learn how indicators work! And remember what the speed limit is on Broomfield Road... It's 30mph...

My family have used 'Your Cabbie' for over a year now and would just like to say a big thank you to them for always going the extra mile and for providing such excellent service. Nothing ever seems to much trouble even at short notice, the vehicles are always clean and the drivers always polite.

Very helpful and polite. Have always been reliable for me and my family and nothing seems to be too much trouble.

Cheap fare prices, friendly service, drivers are often turning up in just a few minutes after calling up.

Ordered a cab from AC a week before a wedding. Called to check during the week that my booking was still confirmed. Cab was due to arrive at 11.45pm. An hour later we were still waiting in the freezing cold. Couldn't get through on the phone. Someone else's AC cab arrived (they hadn't pre-booked!) and we spoke to the office over the cab radio. The woman was rude and unhelpful and incorrectly stated that we had ordered the cab to wrong place. They never even despatched the cab. Awful service.

Me and my boyfriend ordered a cab a couple weeks back and the driver arrived and saw us kiss and drove off.. meaning he didnt want to take us as we were two males kissing!! Terrible dated attitude- avoid !!

Terrible!!! Avoid! Was left waiting over 45 minutes in the pouring rain for no taxi to turn up with the office telling me it was coming. It never did. Tried again last night (as my usual taxi company was insanely busy) was told I couldnt pre order a taxi so called back ten minutes later and then ended up waiting outside the station for 20 minutes for no taxi to turn up once again and no one answering the phone. Waste of time. My pregnant self ended up walking back home in the pitch black darkness. Thanks AC Racio Cabs!

I am completed to write this review as this is probably 4th time that I have ordered taxi to collect me from the Chalkwell station and taxi driver has just collected anyone who happened to be there before I had a chance to get out from the train and to the taxi rank. I have asked lady operator to please make sure that driver waits for me bearing in mind my previous experience , especially as they hold destination address and my name. Despite this same happened yet again. It is absolutely outrageous that the taxi drivers do not take into consideration safety of he people booking the journey or even bother to take appropriate information from the person getting into their cab as to where they are going, it is immediately obvious that the destination is not the same as the booking if they actually cared at all which they obviously do not. Shameful! I miss uber in my area, polite drivers, clean cars and never felt stranded late at night with them. Local council should take note.
