Taxis in Sully, Penarth, South Glamorgan

I can not believe what I'm reading in penarth daily news and penarth times about Cabs 64. When this company arrived in penarth it was a breath of fresh air. A real taxi company who care for there customers and tell the truth when you book a taxi. It would be a massive shame if the vale of glamorgan do close them down as they are doing a fantastic job. Cabs 64 has donated money to Ty Hafan sponsored a local police man for his boxing kit and ive read they have sponsored 5 skittle teams. If that's not good for penarth I don't know what is. They must be doing a fantastic job to be the biggest and most successful company and only been trading 10 months. The council surly realises it's the other taxi companies complaining as they have achieved so much in such a short period of time. Come on vale of glamorgan you should be supporting businesses in penarth with so many closing down. I also read it was officer delagated surly Steven Rennie doesn't have the power to close a thriving business.

This company is providing an excellent service around penarth and surrounding areas. All my friends and family recommend this company. We have even booked a s class Mercedes for a wedding. Excellent rates, keep up the good work.

What a clever name for a taxi company, very catchy.

These are the only taxis you see around in penarth these days. They are cheap reliable and very friendly. Cars are always spotless. Keep up the good work . I've noticed there top on yell and google. They must be doing something right.

Absolutely appalling behaviour from the driver and staff including manager. Would not return a phone that was left in a car which had a bank card and other bits in, leaving a vulnerable disabled lady who lives on her own might I add with no means of communication. Although he offered to bring the phone back if she paid for the taxi fare and when she refused he refused to drop the phone off! We we're given a lots of different stories firstly it had apparently been dropped off at the police station but this was not the case then the phone was apparently dropped of to a random guy at a random street and a random house none of us had heard of. We finally got it back from the police station but we have no idea how it actually got there. As far as the staff we're concerned they couldn't do anything their side and hung up on us multiple times! Im absolutely disgusted with the service we have recieved, we will never use this company again and will recommend people DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Spoke to a mute on the phone who hung up when I asked how long the taxi would be. Never showed up. Bad.

Sadly decided not to use this firm anymore as of today following recent experiences which have left me annoyed and frustrated.

After several years of using them, I found lately that they are totally unreliable, and have gone to another company for my journey,s. Even after pre-booking they cannot get it right or on time.

They're professional and get there when they say they will.

Worse company ever! Please don't give your bank details to them! Most of thair drivers are roud,as well thair customer service! I'm taking them to court!

I have been banned for cancelling a taxi only 1 minute after I booked it, the woman I spoke with on the phone said “youre banned, bye” I tried to explain and she spoke over me and then hung up, avoid!!!

Last week I travelled with Capital. The driver arrived on time, knew the roads, found the best route. Yesterday I booked with Capital again. When they hadn't come almost 20 minutes after the agreed time, I called another company. I was on my way, when Capital messaged to say they had finally arrived (35 minutes late!) I ignored them of course. This all meant I was almost late for a class, and it adversely affected my whole evening. They made a promise to come at a certain time, then broke it. I will never use them again.

Having used Capital for 5 years and only them, after todays service I will never use them again. Twice I booked a taxi on their app- I received absolute NO notifications that either bookings were cancelled. We waited 20 minutes, in the cold and rain and I have bad sciatica at the moment so i was in excruciating pain waiting. Finally I rang, when there was no updates on the app. I was polite and explained that there maybe there was a problem with the app to be talked over and interrupted by THE most ignorant, rude dispatcher! God knows what this woman is doing working in customer service! Shed be better off working somewhere you dont have to work with people!! She would not let me talk, tried to fob me off with excuse and was the most unhelpful person I have ever come across! She wouldnt even let me talk to explain the situation properly!! Added to the fact this cardiff based company has no taxis for central cardiff is just ridiculous!! Theyve lost a good faithful customer today

Do not use this taxi firm! I repeat do not use this taxi firm! Totally unreliable. Booked drop-off and pick-up with Heritage to take six people to Cardiff airport for a morning flight and they failed to turn up. Absolutely furious at being stranded. No phone call or text to explain. I telephoned in panic but could only obtain an answer phone. Called several times whilst away to express my anger but again just got the answer phone. Too late to book another taxi so I had to ferry the six of us plus luggage in three trips to the airport and leave my car there and only just made the flight. Very nearly cost us the holiday!! I'm only rating one star because it's the lowest I can review but would honestly give Heritage a minus!
