    • Reading some of the reviews i dont no how they got alot of 1 star ratings. I have been using this service for past 3 years and they have always been spot on with me. I understand sometimes they are busy and could be running late but that is same with other public transport. Venture Taxis is the best firm in dearne area by far i can vouch for them. Well done guys keep up the good service.

    • Said they had turn up, I actually spoke to a venture taxi driver 5 minutes before so how could they have been there. Lef us stranded avoid at all cost you have been warned.

    • Awful experience the taxi driver was asking if I had a boyfriend and when I said no asked who I lived with very pushy made me feel uncomfortable to top it off he had terrible body odour never again.

    • Got a taxi from swinton with my partner, put to go to Brampton but asked if we could do a drop off at wath first! Got out to go bank machine and he turned montier off and said he thought I was getting dropped off here even though I said from the beginning we was using bank machine, he said he couldnt take me anywhere else as he already pressed for another job

    • Book a taxi to take us to airport, they was about 1 hour late and went we finally arrived at airport he was very rude saying that it was not his problem if we miss a flight. Never book again.

    • Only used twice. First time they denied it was a return booking and we had to change our plans. But that was nothing compared to last night. They left my 16 year old daughter and 2 of her friends . When I rang to complain today they denied the booking was every placed and when I pushed the point, they suggested my daughter was a " liar". Will never use again.

    • My boyfriend needed to get somewhere urgently so he called these guys and they didnt turn up for half an hour so he rang again turns out they never even sent one but one should be coming soon, waited about 20mins and never turned up so he rang them up to cancel because he was getting a different taxi and the bloke on the phone said “I thought we had already cancelled” my boyfriend was waiting nearly an hour for nothing yet they said twice that theyre coming to pick him up. The other taxi he called not from this place came within 5mins. Do NOT recommend this place

    • Wouldnt even give them one star if Im honest. Just got a lift back home from a pub about a 6/7 minute drive away and on the monitor or his phone, whatever it was, the total for the journey was £9.20 but the driver ended up asking for £18. Im not being funny but how does a six minute drive add up to £18, bearing in mind I got a taxi on the way there which came to £7.10. Unbelievable, will definitely not be using them again.

    • I've just had a lovely evening and then got into a taxi from goldstar. He said where to and I told him the road and omg he went I don't know it what's the postcode and I didn't know it and next min he's f.... ng this and how the f.. k do I find a street you can't spell I said hang on I can spell it but I don't know the postcode. He ends up with Google maps and he still had a go at me. Shaking his head looking at me in his rear view mirror and muttering under his breath. Where on earth do you get your drivers from ? I'm not being spoken to or even made to feel like that. I'm going back to martini taxis.

    • Ok I'm just going to come out and say it... Why is it that these taxis absolutely stink. They're filthy and always smell & you know what they smell of ! If I was to post it on here I guess the post would be taken down. Clean your cars and maybe change your diets.

    • Absolutely spot on from booking to arriving home. Gold Star helped us out previously when we were let down by another Rotherham taxi firm, and their service this time was exceptional. Friendly, helpful lady when booking, a text when the taxi was about twenty minutes away on the night and another as it arrived outside. A clean vehicle, friendly driver and very reasonable charge. Well done and thank you.

    • Dreadful experience.Had the misfortune to ring this company from Aldi as my phone had died.Once in car, driver set off and told me the fare would be sixteen pounds for a seven minute journey.(I normally pay no more than seven/eight pounds with other companies.) I told him I wasn't prepared to pay the higher amount.He carried on driving and went a completely different way from the route I was expecting.I asked to get out when we got near to my destination and was told by the driver that on this occasion I could pay just the seven pounds.Just hope less aware people don't get ripped off.

    • Pre-booked a taxi from this company and rang 6 hours in advance. We were staying in a area unfamiliar to my wife and I. We were staying at a B&B and we guests at a friends wedding. The taxi was late by half an hour and when we tried to call the driver direct even he didnt know where he was. After walking to find a street name/sign and being on the phone to the driver a further 10 minutes he managed to find out he was a further 7 minutes away from us. Eventually the driver arrived at our location and then ended up getting lost/confused with the entrance of the venue we werent meant to be at an hour prior. We contacted the company directs who couldnt seem to give a damn, very rude lady on the end of the line and stated it wasnt there fault the driver was unfamiliar with the area. Sorry, but you are a taxi company! Poor, poor, poor service! For a 4-5 mile journey it cost £16. Rip off. We ended up booking a different taxi company for the way back and it cost half the price!

    • Only given one star because none isnt an option. Phoned early Saturday morning to book a taxi for Saturday night, was told they werent taking bookings as they were trailing a new system and to ring for a taxi when I was ready. So later that night when I called for a taxi I was told none were available they were all booked up. I questioned why I hadnt been able to pre book a taxi earlier that morning and was made out to be a liar by the operating staff suggesting I hadnt been told I couldnt book one. When I gave them the time of the call and told them to check the woman began to speak over me and wouldnt let me finish before hanging up on me. The staff who take calls are often very rude and not very helpful. The same night my dad had a taxi booked with Blueline which just never turned up! If a taxi is late and you call to ask where it is you get the same answer every time you call that its just around the corner its 5 minutes away.
