    • Absolutely terrible service. Rude driver, used one taxi last night. First of all the taxi was late, then stopped 50m from where we were, clearly seeing us with all our luggage. Eventually after he parked in front of us he didnt even bother coming out of his van to open the boot. After we loaded all our luggage but struggled with the two ski bags, he got involved, pushing and bashing the skis. We asked him to be more careful as it is expensive equipment, to which he responded rudely that he is not driving us anywhere. We were with two kids and all the luggage. We had to call his company and in his defense he lied that weve been rude and treating him like a slave. Lazy liar, who didnt help at all. Would never ever use this company again. Appalling service!

    • Terrible service!!! Booked for them to drop me off to the airport had to ring to confirm the job more than once. The driver stopped in the middle of nowhere expecting us to get out, I then had to use Google maps to give the driver directions to reach our destination. On the way back we again had to confirm more than once, our flight was delayed by 30 mins when we landed at 7.55 I rang the driver at which point he began to make excuses saying he left at 5.45 but the traffic was so bad that he still hadn't arrived. He didn't know where he was or how long it would take him as he didn't use a sat nav. Once we had our baggage 20mins later I rang him again at which point he said he would be a further 20mins. I rang the office and they were completely uninterested and rude. Altogether we paid £285 for an absolute ruddy service. They are rude, unprofessional and do not know how to run a business. If you want a reliable taxi service do not use A1 Cars Bedford!

    • Used a1 for over 20 years until this evening; tried to order a taxi for friends from our house in Turvey to Bedford, they hung up on us twice and blatantly just couldn't be bothered to come to us. We called to see where the taxi was (as they hadn't let us they weren't coming) and then informed us that they weren't coming. Rude rude rude. Called anglia cars they were lovely and are on their way.

Called to book a taxi they answered and then hang up, called again a very rude woman answered, asked where I was and where I was going to, tried to explain but she was talking with a tude tone and then put me on hold and hung up again.     • Rubbish service. Taxi was late and when i contacted them there was no apology, all i got was "well i cant help it if he's stuck in traffic!" The driver was not considerate either.

    • Im in a wheelchair and roadrunner do not listen to disabled customers, on the 21nd of March I booked a taxi for the 23nd of March and requested a low car as I am in a wheelchair, but was sent a car to high for me to get into therefore the taxi driver hat to lift me in the taxi. I feel this was unfair on the driver and myself and wont be using roadrunners again.

    • They should change their name to lateness taxis services. 11 minutes late to pick a customer up, end of missing my train. The driver spend the 6 minutes journey speaking to someone he claimed to be his mum, driving very slow (due to been on the phone) even being reminded that i have to catch a train. Well disappointed. Its better you try Lee cab. No apologies from the driver, he said the company begged to collect me, called the office and the operator said she will pass my complain to the shift manager, but respond.

    • Absolutely disgusting service, they are late in which they give the excuse we havent had time to sort it out. They have locked the car trapping women inside and then coming on to them making them feel like they are about to get kidnapped or worse and they have no respect or customer service skills. Dont do it to yourselves, it will cause more hassle than good

    • I would never recommend this company they take your money up front take bookings for pickups they cannot fulfil arrive 2 1/2 hours late to pick you up with a driver that falls asleep at the wheel. Stay well clear!!

    • In mid October at 8pm I desperately needed a taxi from Northampton - Lincoln. I do not know Northampton, and I was in Lincoln. I had been ringing round for 1 hour. The passenger was very poorly suffering from a virus and needed to get home. County cars accepted this job at a very reasonable rate, where others had refused. The driver was caring and safe and I cannot thank this person enough. I cannot recommend County Cars more highly and thank them deeply for their service.

    • I would never recommend and I will continue to write bad reviews after I had a trip miles away from home and booking was messed about. When I called to resolve I was met by the rudest call operator I have ever known. He hung up on me 3 times despite me not swearing or shouting and told me it wasn't his problem don't book them if I don't like it. I never intend to use them again.
