    • They did not turn up to pick up my elderly parents. When I called to as ask where they were they had no booking - I think I spoke to the same rude woman who took my initial booking earlier! They're useless

    • They transport my disabled son to school and are frequently hours late picking up from school and home (that is on the occasions that they remember to turn up!) Staff are rude and obnoxious, Chloe deserves a special mention here as when it comes to rude behaviour, she excels. This, I feel sure, is probably the only area in which she will ever excel!! Would not recommend them to anyone, they are an absolute disgrace and should not have SEN contracts as they clearly do not care about the young people they are transporting. These people just represent pound notes to them! Would advise everyone to steer clear.

    • 4 Taxis booked from Kingsthorpe to Welly Road on Boxing Day 2017. 3 taxis were charged £7/£8, we were charged £27. Totally ripped off. Have called the office 4 times, been promised a call back but never received one

    • So I call the taxi guy to pick us up, on the phone they said they would be 10 minutes and they ended up being more like half an hour, i also asked them how much it would be and I got a quote of 12 - 13 pounds. I get in the taxi after waiting for bare long and quarter of the way there he asks me how much they said it would be so I said 13£ and he said no, 15 so I was having an argument about why did they guy say 13 on the phone and you come up with 15 (he said even more at first) and he swerves over to the side of the rode and says get out, at this point I had no idea where I was so I was forced to pay more than quoted. This had happened twice now.

    • I would never recommend this company they take your money up front take bookings for pickups they cannot fulfil arrive 2 1/2 hours late to pick you up with a driver that falls asleep at the wheel. Stay well clear!!

    • In mid October at 8pm I desperately needed a taxi from Northampton - Lincoln. I do not know Northampton, and I was in Lincoln. I had been ringing round for 1 hour. The passenger was very poorly suffering from a virus and needed to get home. County cars accepted this job at a very reasonable rate, where others had refused. The driver was caring and safe and I cannot thank this person enough. I cannot recommend County Cars more highly and thank them deeply for their service.

    • I would never recommend and I will continue to write bad reviews after I had a trip miles away from home and booking was messed about. When I called to resolve I was met by the rudest call operator I have ever known. He hung up on me 3 times despite me not swearing or shouting and told me it wasn't his problem don't book them if I don't like it. I never intend to use them again.

    • Rude driver, refused to tell me what customer he was waiting for. Then drove off. Called their call centre asking how our 86 year old relative will get home. The reply “I dont care, we waited 10 minutes so the business is gone” Will never use AMBER taxi in Northampton again. Disgusting.

    • Had to get back from the hospital earlier hours of the morning in the snow with my 3 year old daughter. They came extra quick, got us both home safe and even stopped and brought my poorly daughter a milkshake. Excellent service.

    • Took taxi from rank at Northampton to Rothersthorpe. Distance is 5.4 miles yet fare was an eye watering £15.20! Ride was poor and my change was given to me in old "no longer legal tender" £1 coins (I did not realise this because of poor light inside the cab until I returned home). There are plenty of cab companies in Northampton - avoid this one

    • I have booked a taxi(29.08.2016) for my missus from Duston to the Trainstation. The taxi did not turn up, no one answered the phone. So, she called an other taxi, but its was late already, so she missed her train. This Company is an unreliable crap!
