TAXI DRIVER RAN OVER MY CAT. BAD SERVICE AS WHEN I RING TO COMPLAIN I GET SPOKEN TO LIKE TRASH.

Terrible service. Do not use. 10 mins after agreed time we were told the taxi was 2 mins away. After another 10 mins we called and were told we didn't have a taxi because they hadn't confirmed it despite having a text to say our taxi was booked. Taxi showed up an hour late after several phone calls.

i called 2 hours before to book a taxi for the required time... guess what.... it never came. Why? Because first communication it was stuck in traffic second communication the train in Netherfield was passing... Result did not make it to my destination, cost me money and waisted my time... Suggestion if you want to get to your destination use any other company except Gedling

I had a taxi back from pinxton with a small child who was not happy hence screaming I apologised to the driver for this his name was Paul had a Southern accent he said to my face it's OK however I have discovered that this driver told another drive Allan Clark I think his name is that he wanted to get hold of my child his words were drag him over the seat and belt /hit him If this is the type of people that drive these taxis then they seriously need to get rid of such people and for the other driver to find it highly amusing he should also be ashamed of himself I am in two minds to contact those who have the power to sort this problem out Bolsover as I am sure he wouldn't threaten adults absolutely disgusting if nothing is done then I will seek advice from Bolsover but not all their drivers are like that

I've just had a very pleasant journey with Mick - Car 20. He was very professional and even managed to swerve an idiot who was trying to dodge the traffic. Highly recommended!

Avoid. Two different prices from Alfreton Train Station private hire was more expensive than on the meter and less traffic

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID Booked a taxi for 11.45 it never turned up. They never got in touch to tell us they were running late. We rang after 15 mins to be told they were behind but were on the way and would be a further 15 mins. Half an hour later still no taxi so we rang again to be told they were on their way, still no taxi turned up we were stood out in the cold and the rain the service is the worst I will never use them again

Was Good to start them compared with amber taxis they ate much more expensive

Couldn't fault the service. Caroline picked me up and was such a friendly lady. Felt totally looked after. Would definitely use this company again. I pre-booked her for my return journey. She was punctual and very pleasant. She knew which way to go to avoid the traffic. First-class service. Thank you so much Caroline!

I was left stranded at Tibshelf services... I called all the taxi services in the area and none could come and get me. A very kind lady picked me up within minutes and got me to Alfreton train station. I highly recommend Watchorn Taxis. LIFE SAVERS! Thank you again.

I was in Alfreton for the first time and didn't know my way around but the taxi service by Amber was great. Nearly missed my train on the way back but made it thanks to the excellent service and quick response. Would definitely recommend

Terrible company. Driver kept texting while behind the wheel and became angry when I asked her to stop. Will never use them again.

Don't bother awful service

Used Bryan's Taxis today,to go to chinley. Driver was on time to pick me up,got to my destination on time.The Driver was polite and friendly. Would definitely use Bryan's Taxis again,

I would never get in one of these taxis on the basis that the driver (I'm presuming Bryan himself on this occasion) is so impatient that he would rather drive on the footpath nearly hitting my neighbours car than be patient with me whilst I try to get my car in a tight space outside my house. And then, to make things worse for him, he shouted out of his window "you need to learn to drive love".... This was unnecessary and very immature to say hundreds of people put their lives in his hands each month! Bang out of order and I will be reporting him higher up to be investigated for his own driving ability.

Received an approximate price from the taxi operator but the driver charged 50% more. Please be aware of this when choose Smart Cars.

Asked and booked a female driver for my wife and son 12 hours in advance and they send a man wouldnt trust them as far as I could through the.

Iv travelled all over the country, one of my stops was to Eastwood hall, I searched for a local taxi firm close to Langley mill railway station and found Astra taxis. They provided me with one of the best experiences iv had from a taxi firm, clean new car, smart in personal appearance, well mannered, and was waiting before I even arrived. Highly recommended.

always honest on availability, clean cars and friendly cheerful board operator and drivers, also have female drivers - can't fault them :)

The driver was a little bit grumpy but then we were being a bit noisy. Got us into town and no probs overall.

Terrible terrible taxi firm really hope people think hard before trusting these people. They left a family of 16 including a 7 month old child and 2 elderly in there 70s stranded on the side of a road 10 miles from our home destination in zero temperatue at 1am on new years eve after already being paid in full. They now refuse to refund me the £44 they owe for the job they did not complete. This says it all for the kind of drivers at this company. Please 're consider booking with them.

Greedy people taking bookings that can't fulfill them leaving people stranded for half hour plus should be shut down poor service

Horrible experience! I had called up and the operator had said that that the taxi is coming now and was waiting 10 mins and didnt turn up so as we would, I called up asking how long its going to be. And the operator in such a harsh and disrespectful, rude tone said “well if its not there then itll be there in a few minutes”. A- there was no need to speak so rudely like that and B- dont tell customers that cars are coming straight away when theyre taking about 10-15 mins whilst were waiting in the cold. Never using them again. Avoid this company!

Had a taxi booked for 7.15pm on Saturday September 25th, never showed after a half hour wait and never answered the phone even though we had a confirmation email earlier in the day. Were nearly 20 minutes late too the Saturday before. Had to drive tonight and was late for a meal. Avoid these pirates as we will be in the future. Good companies out there deserve the business unlike this lot!

Never experienced a taxi ride like this. If I could rate lower I would. Never been so offended in all my life, got called shameful for my beliefs and sexuality, after having a nice conversation to being told god is god and Im a wrong un. Absolutely disgraceful, Im hurt and shocked that they could employ someone like this. Im sat in this taxi alone as a young girl and being preached this to me rather aggressively that I get extremely uncomfortable. Never in my life have I been made to feel that was whilst sat in a taxi, alone - with a strange man. He needs sacking.
