TAXI DRIVER RAN OVER MY CAT. BAD SERVICE AS WHEN I RING TO COMPLAIN I GET SPOKEN TO LIKE TRASH.

Terrible service. Do not use. 10 mins after agreed time we were told the taxi was 2 mins away. After another 10 mins we called and were told we didn't have a taxi because they hadn't confirmed it despite having a text to say our taxi was booked. Taxi showed up an hour late after several phone calls.

i called 2 hours before to book a taxi for the required time... guess what.... it never came. Why? Because first communication it was stuck in traffic second communication the train in Netherfield was passing... Result did not make it to my destination, cost me money and waisted my time... Suggestion if you want to get to your destination use any other company except Gedling

The driver was a little bit grumpy but then we were being a bit noisy. Got us into town and no probs overall.

Booked a taxi to take two 76 year old grandmother's home after a wedding reception. The taxi failed to arrive, the grandmother's in pain and cold waiting for an alternative.

Terrible terrible taxi firm really hope people think hard before trusting these people. They left a family of 16 including a 7 month old child and 2 elderly in there 70s stranded on the side of a road 10 miles from our home destination in zero temperatue at 1am on new years eve after already being paid in full. They now refuse to refund me the £44 they owe for the job they did not complete. This says it all for the kind of drivers at this company. Please 're consider booking with them.

AVOID!!! Very rude, arrogant, disrespectful and unprofessional attitude from dispatchers. My partner forgot her mobile in one of their cars on Friday, since then the dispatchers lied to her that the driver would return it the next day but no one came to deliver it. They refused to give us the mobile number of the driver and stopped answering our calls. We were forced to contact the police and are now awaiting the outcome.

Quoted a price to return from a night out, taxi arrived (Rob), he wasn't happy with the price on his booking confirmation so turned off the engine until we agreed to pay more. We didn't agree so he messaged and told whoever that we were refusing to get out of his car (1:30am in Mansfield).. they sent another car, in the pouring rain, who took us to our homes (Simon) - thank you! Despicable behaviour Rob.. imbecile!

Four minutes late for a booking, and you drove off as we were trying to flag you down, and left me to walk home with heart failure. Awful service.

Booked in advance to be picked up from a restaurant at 11pm never showed up kept telling us that someone called Jimmy was on his way 40 minutes later still no one turned up when we rung the base a woman answering said we were a no show and tried to shift the blame on us. Appalling service they may come across as cheap but certainly not reliable. Worse company and after service in the local area. Avoid if at all possible or rely at your own peril.

I was picked up & the driver (for some reason that wasn't explained to me) was no longer able to carry out the journey - so ejected me, my partner & our 2 small children. We was told to wait for a different car, which would only be 5 mins. It took the second car 20-25 mins to arrive & I was subsequently late for picking my son up from school as the delay of having to change cars took around 30-40 mins. When I rang up to complain, the manager was extremely rude & unprofessional. She had spoke to me discourteously/unprofessionally before I had even started to outline my complaint. Once I had explained my issue, she refused to acknowledge that we had to wait for a second car, declined to apologise for the incredibly poor experience we had received & then appeared to suggest I was late for my son because of the length of time it took to put the car seats in the first taxi that had turned up. I was then hung up on.. This company is an absolute disgrace. AVOID!

Greedy people taking bookings that can't fulfill them leaving people stranded for half hour plus should be shut down poor service

Horrible experience! I had called up and the operator had said that that the taxi is coming now and was waiting 10 mins and didnt turn up so as we would, I called up asking how long its going to be. And the operator in such a harsh and disrespectful, rude tone said “well if its not there then itll be there in a few minutes”. A- there was no need to speak so rudely like that and B- dont tell customers that cars are coming straight away when theyre taking about 10-15 mins whilst were waiting in the cold. Never using them again. Avoid this company!

Had a taxi booked for 7.15pm on Saturday September 25th, never showed after a half hour wait and never answered the phone even though we had a confirmation email earlier in the day. Were nearly 20 minutes late too the Saturday before. Had to drive tonight and was late for a meal. Avoid these pirates as we will be in the future. Good companies out there deserve the business unlike this lot!

Never experienced a taxi ride like this. If I could rate lower I would. Never been so offended in all my life, got called shameful for my beliefs and sexuality, after having a nice conversation to being told god is god and Im a wrong un. Absolutely disgraceful, Im hurt and shocked that they could employ someone like this. Im sat in this taxi alone as a young girl and being preached this to me rather aggressively that I get extremely uncomfortable. Never in my life have I been made to feel that was whilst sat in a taxi, alone - with a strange man. He needs sacking.

Couldn't fault the service. Caroline picked me up and was such a friendly lady. Felt totally looked after. Would definitely use this company again. I pre-booked her for my return journey. She was punctual and very pleasant. She knew which way to go to avoid the traffic. First-class service. Thank you so much Caroline!

I was left stranded at Tibshelf services... I called all the taxi services in the area and none could come and get me. A very kind lady picked me up within minutes and got me to Alfreton train station. I highly recommend Watchorn Taxis. LIFE SAVERS! Thank you again.

I was in Alfreton for the first time and didn't know my way around but the taxi service by Amber was great. Nearly missed my train on the way back but made it thanks to the excellent service and quick response. Would definitely recommend

Iv travelled all over the country, one of my stops was to Eastwood hall, I searched for a local taxi firm close to Langley mill railway station and found Astra taxis. They provided me with one of the best experiences iv had from a taxi firm, clean new car, smart in personal appearance, well mannered, and was waiting before I even arrived. Highly recommended.

Turned up a hour late then drove off thinking my mate was drunk when he really has torettes/twitches which classes as a disability and 2 different drivers drove off after looking at my friend not even giving him a chance to get home causing him more anxiety. I had to ring his girlfriend and disturb her sleep to pick him up as Eastwood cars drivers wouldnt even give him and me a lift. Pure prejudice Disgusting inhumane judgemental acts judging before speaking to the custom. You should be ashamed

I had a taxi back from pinxton with a small child who was not happy hence screaming I apologised to the driver for this his name was Paul had a Southern accent he said to my face it's OK however I have discovered that this driver told another drive Allan Clark I think his name is that he wanted to get hold of my child his words were drag him over the seat and belt /hit him If this is the type of people that drive these taxis then they seriously need to get rid of such people and for the other driver to find it highly amusing he should also be ashamed of himself I am in two minds to contact those who have the power to sort this problem out Bolsover as I am sure he wouldn't threaten adults absolutely disgusting if nothing is done then I will seek advice from Bolsover but not all their drivers are like that

I've just had a very pleasant journey with Mick - Car 20. He was very professional and even managed to swerve an idiot who was trying to dodge the traffic. Highly recommended!

We rang after 15 mins to be told they were behind but were on the way and would be a further 15 mins. Half an hour later still no taxi so we rang again to be told they were on their way, still no taxi turned up we were stood out in the cold and the rain the service is the worst I will never use them again

Not reliable, anytime You book through the app, no cars available, even booked at 2pm for car on 4pm- never arrived

pre booked 6 hours before on both occasions Friday booked a taxi for 6.45pm arrived after two calls to central at 7.15 Sat pre booked a return pick up for 7.00 pm to return 11pm Car arrived 7.15pm and pick up never came leaving us standing out side a closed restaurant with no way to get home, we called central twice to be confronted by a horrid stroppy women who said were busy what do you expect me to do you will get a car when available, and put the phone down they then sent us a message at 11.45pm saying taxi will be dispatched if you want it contact us If you want leaving in the lurch with no way to get home then central taxis is the firm to use..

Used to be a good company. But will not use again Had a few bad experiences with this company as I have a disabled son, so many bias just on the look of my son Do not feel safe in the cars with the new drivers, those that have been there years were good, now the cars are rubbish, the drivers rude, and how they threaten a disabled child and class severe learning difficulty and mobility issues as bad behaved - my son is from far from bad behaved, not his fault he has an extra gene and will always have downs syndrome. A little respect for disabled and they wouldn't loose customers, as I have spread the word to over 200 disabled families today who are also disgusted

I felt safe ' the car was very fresh ' and the driver was very polite ' I would definitely use them again ' it was my first time using this service and I will be using again
