Taxis in Chesterfield, Derbyshire

I booked a taxi for 1.30 as I had a surgery appointment in Grange Wood for 1.50 the taxi did not turn up. Although a taxi from that firm went by at 2 o'clock .i am from no 4 connelly Court Chester Street .i was disgusted and mad for being let down .although this firm as never let me down before .

Driver reversed into our car, he refused to provide insurance details, offered cash for repair & then claimed we went into him.

Terrible experience - pre booked and paid for taxi in full as travelling with children and didnt want to left without a taxi called 10mins before due time to confirm arrival, called another 2 times as taxi was late then stopped answering my calls, ended up calling off another phone to get an answer Debbie was extremely rude taxi ended up being 25 minutes late with 2 very tired and upset children. Will never use again and would not recommend.

Yet again tonight this taxi firm let us down. They tell you the taxi is 2 minutes away when its not. Definitely not using again, absolutely rubbish in our experience.

Terrible parking in a car park, couldnt get into my car. Parked so close I couldnt open doors!

Great service from Marks Taxis. We hired Marks Taxi service for a trip to a Newark theatre evening for 6 people. Not only was he the best quote we received, he waited the 2+ hours, in the van, for our return journey. I will definitely use him again

Driver refused to take us all the way home because he said the road would be Icey we assured him that the road was ok but he would not listen.So we had to get out and walk, it was midnight and very cold, but worse was to come because we were nearly hit by a car as the lane was narrow.

I cant express how unprofessional and rude this company is. I have used this company on a number of occasions as they are local and I like to support local businesses, plus they have a couple of friendly drivers, but I simply cannot continue to use such a poor and unreliable service with such rude phone staff. Today for example, I ordered a taxi to work for 8.20. I booked this at around 7.30 am to avoid any issues and was told the taxi was confirmed. Just after 8.20 I rang asking where my taxi was and I was told it would be around another 10 minutes with no apology. I waited 10 minutes and was notified by the automatic phone message that the taxi would be another 6 minutes late meaning that I had to cancel since I would be late to work. I rang up to cancel and the phone operator hung up on me for cancelling! So rude.

Always punctual very friendly drivers cheap fares would recommend this service to anyone . Used on a regular basis .Can b a bit confusing when trying to get picked up from a new venue as the automated system tries to send to your last pick up point .kev in norton

Watched one of the drivers throwing litter out of his window in woodseats. Poor image for the company. Driver of a blue skoda Octavia SG59 RLV. I'd appreciate his manager pointing out how unacceptable that is.
