Taxis in BL4

Asked for a taxi and this useless company couldn't deliver a taxi to where its requested and for the cheek they just hang up on the customer sort it out

If I could give no stars I would. Ordered a minibus. Switch operator put the phone down so we didnt know whether or not this was ordered until we received a text notification. Single taxi arrived, asked the driver to ring and see if another was on its way but he said he couldnt !? Neither the minibus nor another taxi arrived. No wonder people use UBER.......

No really happy. I ordered taxi hour before time which one I need. I booked before 2 on 3.05pm Taxi was 3.18 pm Taxi driver said they give me this job 2 min ago... I was late at school 15 min.... Sorry but office has 1 hour to sort it and send taxi on the time. I pay for this nobody no need to make me favours to send me a car...

Impressed with the service received, much more pleasant compared to other taxi firms in Bolton.

Booked a taxi in advance. Rang to confirm on the day. It didn't turn up on time so I had to beg a lift to make my train on time. Received a text 20 minutes after booked time to say cab had arrived. Disappointing.

Pre-booked a taxi for the school run for it to come 30 mins late and get told nothing on the phone except what do i expect it is friday.

I had a taxi booked for 7:10. I rung at 7:15 and was told it would be 3-4 minutes. At 7:20 I found my own way to work, as I started at 7:30. The taxi then turned up at my house at 7:40, which I find more insulting than if it hadn't turned up at all. Definitely won't use this company again.

I have been using the town center office for years now.Very good service every time. Keep it up guys.

Pre-booked 2 days in advance my there and back taxi after being assured they take AMEX (was put on hold whilst operator checked with the boss) Driver arrived on time but car seats were filthy and driver was smelly arrived at destination to be informed hes a cash-only driver. I had no cash but he wasnt letting me go. Rang 1010 whilst trapped in the cab at my destination. Operator was rude, acting like this was all my fault. Eventually agreed to pay for both journeys with my pick-up driver later that evening with my AMEX! Midnight arrives, my homeward taxi arrives, nice pleasant guy. Car clean, no smellies. He already has the earlier fare on his meter, so theres obviously been some communication. Gets home. DOESNT ACCEPT AMEX. 1010 get your act together. Sort out your abysmal operators and check your drivers for cleanliness. Youve inspired me to learn how to use Uber!

I booked a taxi to take me to Manchester and they never turned up. One driver charged £2 over the charge because he had to fold his back seats down to get a piece of wood in the back. I will never use 1010 again.

Driver using his mobile phone whilst driving, nearly caused an accident, told him to stop using his phone & watch the road, he told me to get out, & drove off with me half out of the car & the door wide open.

Worst taxi firm iv ever used. Booked airport both ways not too bad going although 15 minutes late coming back 35 minutes late didn't even set off till we were waiting outside at midnight then turned up in a car that stunk like a wet dog shocking

Taxi Driver Number 54 in car 2793 is a pervert, been reported to the company and all they said was will keep an eye on him, not really what you expect when he puts his hands on women alone in the taxi!!! They should be ashamed of themselves and sack the idiot. Could have chosen other words for this but had to be as polite as possible. Please be aware ladies getting in to there taxis and use an alternative if possible for your own safety!!!

My son was short of £1. The taxi driver locked the car started swearing and calling him names. This was false imprisonment. I would strongly recommend using Magnam Whiteline instead

Group of girls being picked up from Manchester. We were quoted £55.00 but once we were half way home they bumped up the price to £65.00. When we protested we were told we had to pay upfront or we would be stranded half way home. We very nearly called the police due to the taxi driver shouting at us. Horrendous service.

Used to be quite reliable. Now when I order a cab they usually say about 10 minutes. After 20 mins I call back and they say hes round the corner, should be with you in a few minutes. I give it another 15 mins then call again, they usually say, “hold on a minute Ill see where he is, oh yes hes a few minutes away”, then I receive the first text to say the taxi is on its way. When it arrives it usually drives to the other end of the road, cant even be bothered looking for a door number so you have to go chasing down the road after it. I always ask the driver how long ago they got my booking and its always just now. Its the same story every time so Ive finally lost patience.

Very poor in recent weeks. Seem to have drivers who dont know way around especially for the airport. Theyve become too big and forgotten what good service is.

Shocking service they left my 70year old grandparents stranded in Manchester. We pre booked the taxi 72 hours before hand. When we rang to see where they were the woman hung up. Ended up phoning a Manchester firm who pocketed the ?25 journey back to Radcliffe.

Absolutely terrible, said a taxi would be 5 minutes, 25 minutes later and I'm still stood in the rain waiting for the taxi, so then I ring the taxi firm only to have the phone put down on me by the woman, I ring back again and ask to speak to the manager, the woman was very rude and refused to put me through to her manager at all, then put the phone down again because I apparently swore, which I didn't, Then when the "taxi" did arrive it wasn't a taxi at all, it was a minicab when I specifically asked for a taxi, taxi was unclean and dirty and the taxi driver kept coughing all over and not covering his mouth, to top it all off the driver tried to charge me ?6 for going 1.5 miles, when I've used taxis to and from the same destination which usually come to around ?3.70

Quite a fast driver which makes the agony of watching the meter a little easier to bear!

Very nice car and he said i came at 4.45 becuse i thourt trafi will be bad but it was quite and he was nice man but i think he was fed up he said its too quite i have been sat i my car with no custorms for 3 hours + when i got in he said hi mate i how are you ? He was very talking a lot all the way

Very nice car it was a sports car and not much leg room ! But he was nice man he got out of and pushed the seat back to give my more leg room he was a funny man He said bloody car he had to do the same whith is saet ! When he got it Is own car was in for repair so got this on loan

Worst service and drivers ever, 2nd rate company

Pre booked taxi in afternoon for 11.15 pm pick up. After a few phone calls it turned up at 11.55. What is the point of pre bookings? I'm glad my wife was not on her own!

I got a taxi tonight from Carrfield to cleggs Lane garage got there and then realised I didnt have my bank card, the taxi driver took me back home then back to the garage for what I wanted then back home. He was still cheaper then the my local taxi service doing two trips then they are doing one. He was so nice, friendly and polite. I give him a 2 pound tip he deserves alot more than that. Think he's a credit to this service and has now made me switch from my local taxi service to yours. Ive been with this one for about 10 years but not one taxi driver was as nice as he was. He was an Pakistan man so you have an idea who he was. Loads of respect for people in his car. Definitely will be going with you again hope all your taxi drivers are the same

Pre-booked a cab for my daughter's swimming lesson for 4:10....lesson at 4.30. At 4.20 no taxi...I called to find out where it was but there was no answer - I can only assume caller id!!!...neighbour saw distraught daughter and offered us a lift - she got in the pool 5 minutes late for her 30 min lesson. Received a text saying your car has arrived, at exactly 4.30....the time her class starts...if my kind neighbour had not given us a lift it would not have been worth going! I called Avacab to advise them of such....the call handler...who I have discovered is the boss' son sarcastically stated without any hint of an apology "thanks for letting us know you no longer wanted the cab" In calm mono tone I replied "I pre-booked it for 4.10, thank you for letting me know it was running late" To which the fantastic customer service continued....in that he hung up the phone on me! Use Zcars! No issues with any drivers just call handlers! Straw that broke the camels back! :-/

Called up for a taxi in the winter, only firm that actually answered their phone and was working in the snow! Very pleased for their service in the cold weather, top service.
