DO NOT BOOK very unreliable and turn up late

Always early, never lets me down. Funny guy who drives well. Wouldn't use anyone else and haven't for years.

Needed a lift to and from garage as my car went in for MOT, not only do you get a text to say when your driver has been dispatched - you can track them too. Woman on phone very helpful and friendly and taxi driver lovely too. Would definitely recommend this taxi service

Taxi driver was incredibly lovely but the women (I spoke to 4 in the end) who I spoke to on the phone were rude and disgusting. After our taxi came 15 minutes early and then left after 5 minutes when we didnt come outside (even though we thought he had another 10 minutes before it even arrived) we called the company who said straight away that drunken people are the bane of their lives and they hate dealing with calls of missed taxis and she didnt want to deal with me. When I asked why they left early she said she didnt know and she didnt care then hung up. I then rang again and asked if another would come and they said it would arrive in 15 minutes. 40 mins later the taxi arrived I called them up again saying it wasnt right that they said 15 mins and it took 40 she would not let me speak said she didnt care if I froze in the cold and that I should have been outside 15 minutes earlier the first time then put down the phone. We then were charged £10 more than quoted. Disgusting

I ordered a cab at 9pm to collect myself and some friends from an event at 11pm sharp. I was advised of a meeting point and was there five minutes early. At 11.15pm I telephoned to ask where my cab was, the bored and indifferent woman at the end of the line said that “someone else has taken it, there isnt anything we can do. Ill send another one”. I expressed my displeasure at this and asked why this had happened given that I had specifically discussed the potential of this situation arising when booking and was told categorically that their cab drivers NEVER gave away fares when booked. The woman sighed and put the phone down. Twenty minutes later, still no cab. I telephoned again and the same woman was deeply irritated that I had interrupted her coffee break and said that yet again my cab had been taken and she would, yet again, send another one. Please dont use this company, they have no morals, no customer service standards and an inability to tell the time.

Ive now been let down twice in the same way by this company. This time they arrived a half hour early, and when we came out at the agreed pick up time the car was nowhere to be seen. After ringing to find out where the driver was we were told he would be another half an hour. The first time we used Village Cars it was to collect me from my Daughters wedding at midnight. It was prebooked a fortnight previously and when no one turned up we were told it was very busy that evening! On chasing the car during the next 45 minutes we were repeatedly told the driver was on the driveway when he plainly wasnt. 45 minutes after the agreed time the car arrived to take us home by what I can only describe as the very long way. No apology at all. I wouldnt use this taxi firm if it was the last taxi firm on the planet. To cap it all the driver was extremely aloof and didnt even get out of the car on collection or arrival to help people in or out of the vehicle. AVOID

Reckless driver and a massive rip off! Driver picked up someone else and made us wait an extra half our. Then wanted £18 for a half hour journey. Just don't use them!

This firm charged us £5 for a half mile journey. This was a complete rip off. Do not use this company.

Pre-booked with an agreed price for a return journey. When the taxi turned up to collect for the return, the driver and then the office demanded an extra £10. We waited another hour for another taxi. I will never use this firm again. BEWARE

Turn up on time always, quick service too.

Disgusting service! No customer skills what-so-ever! Man was abusive on the phone when I rang to complain about our taxi that never arrived! We will NEVER EVER be using this company again!

I would just like to mention that I have just had a lovely taxi man take me to the train station. He was very helpful and polite in aiding me into and out of the car which is of a great help for me these days as i am a bit unsteady under foot these days. I don't use taxis very often and the whole experience today has made look forward to booking Loughborough Taxis again.... I'm not sure of the nice man that came to get me.. It would be great to have hime again.. I wonder if that is possible?
