Taxis in EH49

Very poor performance I thought I was getting into a Taxi with a professional Taxi driver, it wasn't he had a very poor knowledge of route just following a sat nav. Very little knowledge of Edinburgh. Next time I will use a black cab from the airport, I used a black cab on my return journey! It was way quicker and cheaper.

Phoned on the 3/ 10 and communicated with a robot . After a wait spoke to a person who booked me for 4/10 at 845 ..Was going into hospital as day patient ..The taxi was 20 minutes late ..I was advised initially I would be picked up by a BMW and then a Toyota. The driver of the Toyota travelled from Preston pans and said he had been allocated the job at 9pm ..The cost was £25.80 for a very stressful and inadequate service

They helped us to get to the airport after an unexpected accient. The staff treated us very professionally (we were stressed) and we got to the airport on time. 10/10, highly recommended!!

Honest driver Saleem called me back after I'd left his cab to point out I'd given him 2 twenty pound notes instead of 2 tenners. many thanks

dropped off in town for a night on the tiles with work mates. All good fare less than I normally pay too!

I have used this taxi company for a considerable time, and never before today had any major complaints, however today I have seen a different side to this company. The driver was rude and obnoxious I had to ask him to turn off the radio as I really did not want to listen to a Saudi Arabia debate. My journey is a standard set fare of £14, and I have been issued with a taxicard giving me a £2.00 discount. He refused to give me the discount charging me £15.60. And said you dont get hospital fare with a taxicard. I checked this and as I was charged the £12 on the initial journey it should have been the same. When I phoned the company they were so not interested and said I need to put it in writing. Disgusting customer service. You've let yourself down badly....

Missus on a night out and needed a cab so we used these guys. Pick up bang on time and payload delivered to the hen night in perfect condition!

Cancelled on me at 3:30am with no warning, without even texting me. I had to call for them to find out. They told me they were prioritising airport journeys, but I had booked an airport journey via their automated service.

Phoned at 12pm to book a taxi at 4 pm to take me to hospital appointment, company took booking.When no taxi arrived by 4.05pm I called "it's on its way 5 minutes" I was assured.No taxi at 4.10 pm phoned again " could not get through ( obviously screening calls ). Managed to get through at 4.15 pm to be told the taxi was outside ,looked outside to see him pulling up.asked him if he could get to hospital in 15 minutes, and credit to the driver he was honest and said no chance.MISSED HOSPITAL APPOINTMENT.Do not use these jokers more interested in overbooking to make more money than anything else.DO NOT USE THESE JOKERS

Rating would be zero but unfortunately this isnt an option. Called for a taxi and got a lady in a call centre who clearly wasnt local and had no idea about the area. Started off by telling me the pub I was in didnt exist despite having been around for over 100 years. Then told me my address in Armadale didnt exist. Finally said she had found a name close to my address and would send a taxi. When the taxi arrived it was showing a fixed far of £9.90 for a 1.5 mile journey that usually costs £6-7 on a metered taxi. I queried this with the driver and asked him to check with the office but his English wasnt great and he just kept telling me that it was the office who set the fares. By not using a meter customers at at risk of the person taking the call not knowing where you are asking for and just picking where they think you want to go. Will never use this company again.

An enormous thank you to the driver who helped two old ladies ( 1 disabled and just out of hospital) who had a puncture today,17/05/19,near fire station Bathgate. He got us back on the road and tailed us to a garage for repair. He would not accept a penny for all his help. I don't know what we would have done without his help. If all this company's drivers are like this, please do not consider another taxi company. I won't ! J. Johnston,Bathgate.

I have used county for 4yrs on a weekly (sometimes twice) basis. Today I got a cab, he nearly crashed twice with my son and I in the car, asked him to take me to hospital instead of asda and was told no so had to get him to livingston and then get another taxi to the hospital. My son dropped his phone in the cab but driver says it wasn't in car, we can prove he's lying as we have a tracker on our sons phone and various stop and addresses we visited until we called cab company and after that it was switched off, really am very angry, I have been a loyal customer for years and now treated as a liar, I have contacted the police who have reported as stolen, they are going to be getting in contact with next customers and driver who has obviously pocketed my son's phone and saying he knew nothing about it I would not recommend to anyone, less than helpful on the phone too!!!

Fed up having to wait for taxis at asda falkirk. Its a joke, people waiting over 30 min is not good enough and road traffic excuses just doesn't wash. Need to open asda to all local taxis, locals might have a chance of getting one if they did.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Office staff very rude when you call and they cant get you off the phone quick enough. Taxis always late/dont turn up, and when you call to query where it is, its as if the taxi was never booked as they send you a new booking confirmation through text. Avoid unless you enjoy disappointment.

Barrelling through a 50mph speed limit on the M9 doing at least 70mph, is not a good look.

the girl on the end of the phone is so quick to get you off the phone that she doesn't even bother to take your name or tell you how long to wait. When taxi didn't turn up no apology and same experience x 2. Rude unhelpful staff who think they can play god and leave a vulnerable female without a taxi. Avoid don't give them your hard earned money.

Worst taxi company in Scotland!! Dont book with them!! Booked the taxi with half an hours notice, from the train station specified the Premier Inn and the postcode, paid for our journey and got to the hotel reception only to discover that the driver took us to the wrong address. When I called up the office to query it I got passed around call handlers and put on hold, then the call handler said shed listened to the call and we hadnt given a postcode? Even though we 100% had! She was extremely rude and aggressive on the phone, did nothing to help us at all. I said we had definitely given the name and correct postcode and would listen to the call myself she snapped “be my guest”. Absolutely disgusting service from Express Taxis. The taxi driver said hed do us a favour and take us anyway as it was only an 8 minute drive we thought it cant be much more, well pay the extra £5/£10. The meter went over £20 and was going up rapidly, we asked the taxi driver and he said this was normal!

I visit Rosyth for work every couple of weeks and have done (Covid allowing) for the past couple of years. I have used this company all this time and they are like having friends “north of the border”. Always polite, friendly and on time every time. Wish they had a Lincoln branch! Highly recommend.
