Our drivers are licensed by Luton Borough Council with wheelchair accessible taxis in the fleet as well as saloon private hire vehicles. Which allow variety of customers for their needs while travelling From/To Luton Airport. Once a week customer draw is made, where you have a chance of winning a amount of between £5-£30 weekly. Which is deducted at the next journey of travel as a voucher. We are also authorised to use bus lanes, we have found this save you greatly on time, especially around busy city centres. Not only are our vehicles modern and comfortable, they are also very spacious. This allows for luggage to be carried with passengers and can take up to 5 people per journey. This can save money as many clients have previously needed to pay for 2 vehicles to compensate for additional luggage.

    • Absolutely terrible service. Rude driver, used one taxi last night. First of all the taxi was late, then stopped 50m from where we were, clearly seeing us with all our luggage. Eventually after he parked in front of us he didnt even bother coming out of his van to open the boot. After we loaded all our luggage but struggled with the two ski bags, he got involved, pushing and bashing the skis. We asked him to be more careful as it is expensive equipment, to which he responded rudely that he is not driving us anywhere. We were with two kids and all the luggage. We had to call his company and in his defense he lied that weve been rude and treating him like a slave. Lazy liar, who didnt help at all. Would never ever use this company again. Appalling service!

    • Terrible service!!! Booked for them to drop me off to the airport had to ring to confirm the job more than once. The driver stopped in the middle of nowhere expecting us to get out, I then had to use Google maps to give the driver directions to reach our destination. On the way back we again had to confirm more than once, our flight was delayed by 30 mins when we landed at 7.55 I rang the driver at which point he began to make excuses saying he left at 5.45 but the traffic was so bad that he still hadn't arrived. He didn't know where he was or how long it would take him as he didn't use a sat nav. Once we had our baggage 20mins later I rang him again at which point he said he would be a further 20mins. I rang the office and they were completely uninterested and rude. Altogether we paid £285 for an absolute ruddy service. They are rude, unprofessional and do not know how to run a business. If you want a reliable taxi service do not use A1 Cars Bedford!

    • absolutely terrible rude driver refused to take me as he wanted upfront payment which to my knowledge is illegal as he has not fulfilled the service that i am paying for yet i am still being demanded to pay cash upfront otherwise he will not take me anywhere and told me to "Hurry up" in an aggressive manner to get in the taxi, when every other taxi service ive had have no issue with taking me to my location and then paying for the service once ive been taken to my destination, this taxi service doesnt even deserve 1 star rating but its sadly the lowest this site will allow to leave a review, if anyone wants a taxi this is the worst place to go to.
