    • To the other reviewer, you're saying you jumped in a car without booking one and e overcharged you? Mate, you got in a hackney carriage, you can't blame the company for that. There are loads of hack drivers that also work as private hire but if you don't book with the company, they will charge hack rates. I love 5 star, brilliant firm.

    • Overcharged by over £5.00 for a journey from Mal Maison to Wickham at 2-15pm today. Driver was waiting outside hotel. Did not switch his metre on and charged me £14 instead of £9.0. I have assumed he is part of this company because he gave me their card for the return leg. It was only when I used another company for the return that I realised what the price should be. He had a tattoo on his forearm with the name and date of birth of a child (2011 I think).

    • Charged £3.60 from my friends house less than a 5 minute walk away. Said it was procedure. I really hope LA dont advertise this. I did ring up and the gentlemen said it was a new tab, a new tab??? To a minute around the corner. I'm sure!!! Avoid!!!

    • I rang for a taxi yesterday at 9.30am enquiring if I could have a taxi to Burnopfield at 10.30am - I was told they werent taking bookings and to ring nearer the time ? I asked how much nearer 5he time did they mean as it was less than an hour already and he told me he couldnt say ! I rang Street Cars instead and they came no problem - I know which company I will be using in future and it wont be Dean Taxis - terrible customer service

    • Terrible experience over a year starting with being 20 minutes late for an airport pick up booked weeks in advance. The app also doesn't work constantly having bookings cancelled and then called by rude staff suggesting that it's my fault and that I've been called to say this when I haven't. The way they are headed can't see a future no respect for customers. Call staff have no manners which is a shame since drivers are generally lovely. Need overhaul of booking system as it clearly doesn't work and people managing it don't understand simple procedures like a pre booked important event shouldn't rely on a previous pick up finishing on time.

    • Dean Taxis employ drivers who don't understand the basic rules of driving. They think it's acceptable to park on a dropped kerb, blocking the access to somebody's drive on a daily basis, while dropping off a passenger who lives half a mile away. When you complain, they say that they have to stop exactly where the passenger wants them to, regardless of the rules of the road. Doesn't give you any confidence in other aspects of their driving ability.

    • Poor poor service. Booked a taxi for a lone lady online, booking not picked up although confirmed. Left lady standing outside by herself for 30 mins as 30 mins late. Totally unacceptable. Will not use dean taxis again.

    • WARNING: JUST GO TO ANY OTHER TAXI COMPANY ! they gave me a price that was below, I even asked the taxi driver about the definite price as soon as i got in as I specifically told him how much i had. When we arrived I disputed it the taxi driver got very aggressive and said I HAD TO GIVE HIM MY PHONE! I finally got someone to lend me the extra £5 and i I LEFT THE TAXI AFRAID, TREMBLING AND IN TEARS when i closed the door. He looked at me and I said I needed my suitcase AND HE DROVE AWAY WITH MY SUITCASE ON PURPOSE! I just arrived from the airport to visit I am only a student and I had little money on me and only had what I was wearing it was 1AM. When I called the company the driver made A FALSE ACCUSATION OF ME SAYING RACIST COMMENTS! I had to get the police involved. It was outrageous and I hope that taxi driver has been fired because despite a few operaters being of no use saying I had to pay for the taxi to bring back my suitcase after hours, I finally had one operator who said she

    • Very unreliable! I prebpoked a taxi during the day for the evening and they didnt even turn up. I tried calling the number but there was no answer. Ended up getting an uber. Would not recommend.

    • One of their drivers almost took my car out tonight. Need to be careful! I was turning right into my drive way where he overtook me on a residential street veering into the opposite lane going way over the speed limit where overtaking isn't allowed almost clipping me, fortunately I use my mirrors and stopped when I saw him coming. I would give -1 stars if I could.

    • Office staff within this company do not know how to talk to customers, I ordered a taxi for 8:50 for my girlfriend, it came at 8:35 when I rang to ask him to hold the car, he said no.
