Happy with the taxi service, they normally turn up on time! Fare prices are quite lower than other firms plus you get friendly service!

Alpha have always been on time when ordering from them, they are quick with their service, their drivers know the short cuts so you get where you want to be on time.

In the handful of times I've used this taxi company I've never had a taxi turn up on time from one phone call and have always had to call back, useless.

This has to be the most unreliable taxi firm ever. Needed a disable taxi for christmas day. Tried booking in advanced and were told to call on the day as it was not a problem. Called as instructed and told to call back at 9:30 we did and were told they didnt know which drivers were working so couldnt do it. What a way to run a business!! If I could give zero stars I would. Dont ever bother trying these guys

Due to incompetence and lies the ordered taxi never arrived. Ended up a 74 year old lady and a disabled lady were forced to walk home after an hours wait. A joke of a company. Regular customers as well. However not the first time., but it is the last.

The man who answered the phone when I booked my taxi was So Rude. I am not happy with my service and advice managers that they should listen in to phone calls as he was horrible.

Can't beat these cabs for their comfort even if you do get thrown around a bit in the back!

Appalling service. We pre-booked for a disabled elderly widow to attend her husbands funeral and they failed to turn up. We instead had to try and find an alternative method of transport whilst the hearse was outside her house. This taxi was booked two weeks in advance and also confirmed the day before. Avoid.

Ordered in advance this taxi to collect my daughters to take them to an appointment. They left my daughters waiting for a taxi that eventually turned up 25 minutes late and so they were very late to their appointment. Not good to leave a 17 year old and 13 year old waiting so long for their taxi.

The taxi failed to show, just to go to Widnes town centre December 2020. Would not use them again a at all.

We asked for a taxi to collect us from our home, to just take us into Widnes town centre. The taxi failed to show up, so we cancelled the taxi and went for the bus, this was September 2019. We will never use Brittannia Taxis ever again, as they are unprofessional and unreliable September 2019.

We asked for a taxi, later in the morning of the 16th December 2020, just to take us to Widnes Town centre. Brttiania taxis did not show so at 11.20 am we cancelled the Ravi from coming. All in one morning Britannia taxis, had failed to send a taxi for 8.00am and 11.00 am to come to the same address. All this did for us was confirm, that Brittannia taxis can not give any form of taxi service at all. We will not under any circumstances now, use Brittannia taxis at all as they are not a professional taxi service, and so unreliable 16th December 2020.

Brittannia taxis, have just proved to us that it does not matter when you ask for a taxi, and how you order a taxi will not come no matter what. All they focused their attention on was how to give a bad customer service and a bad taxi service. Their general manners of staff on the phone, and reply, response was downright rude,disgusting and ridiculous behaviour. We will never use Brittannia Taxis ever again. 18th December 2020.

Got taxi yesterday 6th Nov left a bag in cab rang as soon as I realised. The taxi driver Peter said no bag was left this was a perfume set and was in a special bag it cost me over 50 pounds was gutted even more so when your drivers just keep list property. I rang this morning to see what policy was on handing back left property and the clown of an operator hung up on me .I am fuming and I will put this on social media to inform the public of this terrible ordeal

How can I put this? They are never on time. Sometimes, they can be frustratingly early to the point that they arrive when you're in the middle of something 10 minutes before the booking time, before starting the thing on the app and overcharging you for waiting despite their arriving early. Other times, they are so late that you've got more chance of a herd of pegasi appearing than you have of a taxi, which I find insanely frustrating as because of personal circumstances, I have to use this company to get to and from work each day due to their monopoly in the Wirral. Furthermore, they overcharge you to the point that I'm convinced that they're basically the Ferengi from Star Trek, trying to hoard all their wealth like they're Grand Nagus Zek. I'd wager that Jeff Bezos, with all his wealth, could only afford two Argyles before being destitute, and that's if it went from Birkenhead to Liverpool. I'd keep going, but I'm not writing a thesis for a PhD. I'd rate 0, maybe -1/5 if I could.

Pre-booked for Sunday morning 07.00....in order to get to Liverpool coach station at 08.10. Rang to confirm at 06.50...told they would send driver now. Rang at 07.05 & 07.15 told driver was in Liscard on way. Rang again at 07.20 and 07.25 told there were a couple of cars in Liscard and they were trying to get one to us. Gave up and drove over costing considerably more to park but still worth every penny. NEVER USE THIS SHOWER OF SH*TE AGAIN. Second time they've let us down ...lesson learned.

Well never thought I would be posting on here again but here we go. Back in February I left a review about how you left us stranded for getting to my Mum's funeral & how we had to get the funeral directors to divert & pick us up. Today we laid Mum & my stepfather to rest. I begged my Aunt and Uncle not to use you to get to the service but they were so certain that they would not be let down. Cab booked for 11.15am, 11.20 they rang you to be told driver was just dropping someone off & heading straight over to pick them up. 11.35 they rang back & basically told don't know when we can get to you. What happened to the "just dropping off and heading straight over"?? A blatant lie or were they doing a drop off in bloody Scotland! Luckily a neighbour offered to drive them over & when my Uncle tried to do the honourable thing & ring you back to let you know cab was not needed you had blocked his number. Absolute disgrace that TWICE you have let us down for attending funeral services.

Thursday 24th Feb - Failed to send a cab for my Aunt and Uncle to get to their great-niece's 24th Birthday because they were too busy when they took the call and forget to book it in, meant they arrived half an hour late causing complications for the restaurant handling a party of 11 people. Friday 25th Feb - Despite booking on 21st and confirming TWICE after that transport for 8 people in in an 8 seater, or if that was unavailable 2 cars, for THEIR suggested time of 12pm pick up and knowing this was for my Mum's funeral failed to send transport and when contacted advised it would be another 15 mins. Had to phone the funeral directors at very short notice and arrange for them to pick us en-route to my Aunts house as opposed to meeting us there. Definitely not what I needed at a time of grieving. Absolutely shambolic, unprofessional and unreliable service.

Left our daughter stranded in the middle of the night when her card was retained by a faulty cash machine. When I called independently to try to find a solution to bring her home safely they were completely uninterested in helping.
