    • I never write reviews but felt compelled to write this one. He was absolutely professional, punctual and courteous. Carried all the cases, asked what radio station I preferred as it was a long journey. We chatted and I asked what he used to do and he said he said used to work in the service industry. Well it shows.. Couldn't recommend enough and he deserves his five stars.

    • Fantastic service. Lyndon from Time & Place is the ultimate professional! He came to the door, instead of sitting outside and beeping the horn, he helped with our bags, opened doors for us and was friendly without being overly familiar. Both outgoing and return journeys were a pleasure. We requested a text to let us know when he was near, and we got one! Nothing was too much trouble. We won't use any other taxi firm again!     • We booked time and place to take us to the airport, 4 am pick up. They arrived on time even took out heavy cases and loaded them in the car and took out for us at the airport. Car is spotless and huge, nothing like taxis I have used in the past. Very professional. Won't use anyone else now. BOOK BOOK BOOK.

    • This has to be the most unreliable taxi firm ever. Needed a disable taxi for christmas day. Tried booking in advanced and were told to call on the day as it was not a problem. Called as instructed and told to call back at 9:30 we did and were told they didnt know which drivers were working so couldnt do it. What a way to run a business!! If I could give zero stars I would. Dont ever bother trying these guys

    • Due to incompetence and lies the ordered taxi never arrived. Ended up a 74 year old lady and a disabled lady were forced to walk home after an hours wait. A joke of a company. Regular customers as well. However not the first time., but it is the last.

    • The only taxi service we consider these days. They will never - I mean NEVER - let you down. We always use them. We've just returned from a long-haul holiday, with multiple flight changes and delays. The guys showed up at the airport every time we were supposed to arrive (and hadn't!), until we did eventually land. They watch for your flight, and will keep in touch with you. I cannot thank them enough. It's one less worry to know that Kings Travel will show up, whatever happens. Thanks Paul, Chris, and the rest of the team.

    • Excellent service from booking to getting dropped of at home. I was kept in touch after making the booking about the driver and times etc, by text and phone messages.The driver arrived 5 minutes before the time booked, he was professional, friendly and courteous. The vehicle was modern and clean. They were waiting for me at the airport and dropped of at home with minimum of fuss. The fees for the job were very reasonable and all in all I am more than happy to recommend them.

    • I noticed them arrive and park around the corner very early (about 25 minutes) then drive up to the house 5 minutes before the time. Talking to the driver it seems they are a group of independent drivers who work together with Kings so they always have a back up driver in case something happens and the allocated driver is delayed. very reasonably priced, very nice driver and very helpful.

    • After ringing Cheshire West Taxi's, they told us it would cost £15 per person for 5 of us and £20 for someone in a further location, which was great. It turned out one person didn't go but we still expected to still pay for that person. However, once we got in the taxi, the driver told us it was £25 per person which was not what we expected! This meant that we ended up paying an extra £45 more than we should have. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

    • Dreadful. If I could score zero rating I would do. Booked two taxi yesterday/today 15-16/06/18. First 8am - arrived 8:50am - after three chase up calls. Although in Widnes, ended up with a Knowsley driver who to be fair was pleasant and apologetic, but that is not the point. Second 2am - never arrived - still waiting 12:30pm! After a variety of chase up calls only to be told there was only ONE taxi cab working in Widnes! Absolute joke. Enough said.

    • Before this firm got taken over by Britannia it was spot on. But it is a total joke now. Drivers have no ideasy where anything is ... and thats even if they bother to actually pick up. Get a call back but the taxi is not there. Have the option to call through to the driver... they don't answer. Call the operative... they blatantly lie saying the driver picked up the wrong fare... it is such a low standard of customer service. Shameful and totally disgraceful. Yuve ruined what was the best taxi firm in widnes. Bad experiences spread further than good ones. I will make sure my numerous terrible expierences with this firm is shared with all. Hopefully it will eventually restore back to its previous great quality.

    • After using Britannia cars for quite some time now I can honestly say I had an absolutely amazing service with them. I left my iphone in the back of the cab and after calling it and receiving no answer, I was thnking I might not get it back and would have to buy a new one. But then the driver popped around to the house and dropped it off. I am so grateful! And would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone who needs a car/cab! The drivers are so friendly and very chatty, which is always good. They also have a very fast and reliable service and I will most definitely call upon them again in future. Thank you so much!

    • What a joke, the taxi driver had NO change at all and could not split a £20.00 note. Had to get my Mum to cut open a money tin to get 2, £5,00 notes out of, whilst the driver waited outside. I wonder what would have happened had she not had that. I bet he would have found change then. NEVER going to use these again, how embarrassing was that for everyone. What taxi driver doesn't have ANY change at all, he said he only had copper. Taxi fares don't go up by the penny. Whoever you where, sort yourself out, and help your customers. I suggest you stay away from these, unless you want an embarrassing situation like this.
