Totally disgusted by delta tonight....took us to Manchester but refused to pick us back up!!!!....was told to use a local firm because delta dont pick up in Manchester which is total bollox...been picked up by them a couple of times over the last couple of weeks but guy on switch board tonight was a total arrogant prick...you need to get rid!!!!

Do not touch this comapny with a bargepole. Have used them often for years, however they have a guy (think his taxi number is 388) who refused to let us pick up some coins that were dropped onto the taxi floor. He said 'it's in my cab, so it's mine'. Now whenever we phone Delta Cars, if he turns up, he puts two fingers up, and drives off . We then have to wait for another taxi. How this guy still has a licence is beyond me! Avoid at all costs.This issue is currently being dealt with by Oldham Council.

Taxi driver lied to us and got other people in his taxi and lied to our faces and said that it was for another person. Rang him 3/4 times and ignored my phone call. Worst taxi service Ive ever had I ever had I recommend cartax instead.

My mum rang this number to order a 7 seater taxi they said it was unavailable so she rang a different taxi number assuming it was a different taxi service and asked for a 7 seater again. Turns out the other number was there number aswell and the man was very very very rude to her raising his voice saying we've already told u once we don't have a 7 seater why u calling again. My mum apolgised and hung up. Both numbers were 0161628700/01616241212. I'm very angry at the way my mum was spoken to and immediately ordered her a taxi from limeline who were so helpful and informative. Avoid at all cost!!!!

Rang a taxi and asked for it to arrive in 10 minutes as I was on the tram. When it still hadnt arrived after 20 minutes I chased and was told “were busy love” - doubtful at 7pm on a Sunday. When I asked why he didnt tell me this when I rang earlier the response was “well Im telling you now.” Terrible service!

I understand this is a small company (not sure how small it is now that they have merged with "Swift") & I understand sometimes things can go wrong. I work at The Alexander Club and have done so for about five years. I've been using A2B for about six years in total and after tonight-I will not be using them ever again. Each time I finish work, I call for a taxi stating where I am-outside The Alexander OPPOSITE THE PRINCE OF ORANGE. Sometimes I just ask for the taxi opposite The Prince of Orange and don't mention The Alexander Club because they never send it there. However, on NUMEROUS occasions they send the taxi to the wrong place. And I'm stood waiting. For ages. I ALWAYS have to call again at least once. I'm always left waiting around 20 minutes. I told the driver tonight that I may have to stop using the taxi firm and his DISGUSTING response was "Whatever". Horrible service and tonight the driver just drove me over the edge with his pathetic response. That was after I tipped him!

Ordered taxi for 3.30 from training station. Waited for 15 mins. Phoned and told unloading. They said would get driver to phone. I phoned again 10 mind later. Told he was stuck in traffic and another twenty minutes. Useless and rude staff. My family and I use to use service a lot. Last several times they've been late and unapologetic. Will never use them again.

Absolutely shambolic service. Taxi ordered the previous day to go to Manchester piccadillly. Didnt turn up kept being told it was 2 minutes away. Had to keep phoning as they still hadnt arrived 20 minutes later. Asked for a reduced fare if they did eventually arrive got £2 off!!! Then was so worried I wouldnt make the train asked if they would refund the train ticket if I missed it. They said they might refund part of the price!!!i said I would expect a full refund if I missed the train. Ive nit missed part of the journey. Then to cap it all I heard another operator talking to my so called taxi driver who was supposed to be with me by this time 15 minutes ago saying well shes kicking off what wonderful customer service!!!!!! Never again will I use the company. Have used it for nearly 20 years to go to the airport but they have definitely lost a valued customer and I will be positively encouraging others to avoid this DREADFUL taxi company.

My friend and I used Cartax to pick me up from Manchester airport. The plane was slightly delayed. I wandered round the airport lounge looking for the taxi driver, to no avail. Normally taxi drivers identify themselves but he was no where to be found. I eventually found him by WHSmith and when I told him who I was. He said to me 'you were lucky, I was just about to leave'. What would I have done then?

It was a rainy day we have two children aged 2 and 4. We were visiting a farm and were taken to the station. When we arrived the driver did not help me take out our bags from the boot but complained how dirty his car was. He started to clean the seats and did not stop the meter, so it has charged us an extra pound till he finished with the cleaning.
First of all, we took reasonable care to keep the car as clean as possible. Obviously the wellies would have leave some muddy spots and it was not a big deal.
Secondly, it should have been expected by the driver.
Thirdly, he should have stopped the meter when we arrived.
Fourthly. if he was so keen of his car, he should have put some protection when he arrived on a rainy day on a farm and seeing two small children popping into his car.
Fifthly, he should have clean the car after he unpacked our bags and we paid for trip.
Lastly, he never should complain in front of a happy customer. Now he has missed the extra tip.

Awful experience with this taxi company, we were left stranded for an hour in the middle of the night in Manchester. We kept calling asking for an update but were just told 'oh another 10 minutes' after an hour of this we cancelled the taxi and went with Uber. Wish we had done that in the first place but the hotel we were staying at recommended Lime Line. Will never use them again.

Wrong taxi price to the airport - attempted to charge more when arrived
Wrong price from the airport - lied about the driver being there, was another 40 mins, and tried charging more again, also told the driver to get more money even though it had already been disputed and agreed AGAIN on the phone
Dont bother using this taxi firm, absolutely crap

Unreliable left me stood outside a locked up club. Initially I got a text saying my taxi was booked. However, I rangbafter 30mins to ask why taxi hadn't arrived and was told it would be 5 minutes each time I rang to see where taxi was. This went on for 50mins they then put phone down and cancelled the taxi which I found out when I rang 20 minutes (1hr &10 minutes after booking taxi) later to cancel as I d walked home. I then got a text saying my taxi had been booked. I would NOT recommend this taxi company. I will not use it again!

Picked up 3 times this week. First 2 times was same driver, lovely and courteous. Today picked up and windows fully down and soon realised that the driver had a very strong smell of cannabis. Professional drivers smoking drugs then collecting fare payers?! Disgusting!! Will not be using again.

Booked weeks in advance on the way to the venue was fine on return was told to ring to arrange a time the driver did not answer. Rang the company at 11:20 for 00:00 return who said they would send someone. Rang the company at 00:10 to be told they could not contact driver so there was nothing they could do. Claimed because I had only booked at 11:20 it was not there problem although no one had informed us the minibus was not coming it was now 00:20. Ignoring the fact we had booked return weeks in advance. Very unreliable had to book taxis from different company to get 14 people home.

Absolutely appalling service. Booked a taxi for 5:45pm to the airport. No one turned up. We rang at 6pm as they're 15 minutes late - no one answered - the phone was out of service or being hung up on me! We have had to ask a neighbour to take us last minute running 25 minutes late in rush hour traffic! Wouldn't even give this unreliable company one star if I didn't have to!

At 10am this morning I booked a taxi for 3:15pm. At 3.05 when the taxi had not arrived I called the taxi company and asked if the taxi was on its was and was told there was no taxi on it way. After explaining i have an appointment in 10 minutes, the lady said she would send one "urgently". Finally at 3.25 the taxi arrived, i was now already 10 minutes late for my appointment. Needless to say the surgery could not fit me in and I missed my appointment. This means not only have I paid £11.10 for a taxi and lost out from an hours of paid work, I now have to do the same this again. I would understand this being a problem if I had not already booked the taxi but as seen as I had booked 5 hours in advance, I was very disappointed and will be looking for a different local taxi firm for all future taxi requirements including my second trip to the surgery.
Todays experience was not even worthy of a 1* rating but that is the lowest option available.

Not worth the abuse you get from the main switchboard operator,better to go to another taxi company altogether.Rollers should be boycotted.Its a joke of a company,run by people who care more about lining their pockets than the quality of service they provide.
