I have been using Gilbert's over 25 years now.

Really bad, booked with disabled needs explained this was assured of help, but the drive refused any assistance - so mean spirited - what a horrible company

Paid for group booking gave them a tip in advance big mistake driver miserable & wanted more money give Gilbert a wide berth.

A local family taxi company well established with a great fleet of drivers and nice cars. Polite, punctual and good value too.

The best taxi service in witney by far. Always friendly and on time, great communication and will do everything he can to get you where you need to be.

I was really disappointed with my previous taxi company and was recommended by a few friends to try out Village Cars. The driver I got I think he said his name was Naz very polite and professional guy also the car was very clean as well. all I can say is keep up the good work guys.

Completely useless. Do not use. Do not turn up in the morning when you book them, their excuse is they have school runs to do, so why take the booking. Tonight 45 minutes late and in that time we received a call telling us that the driver had gone home to bed! We made 12 calls all not answered can you imagine if that was your teenage daughter waiting to be picked up. Sorry Village cars just not acceptable

Good taxi firm loaded our bags and took us home no problemo very good overall.

Taxi driver didn't had a contactless payment option, so he had to call to headquarters and I had to tell all personal credit card info by phone for dispatcher. I dont think it is even legal. Car smelled like rubbish bin.

Shockingly Bad. I pre booked the taxi for 1:40 to transport wedding guests. The taxi failed to turn up on time. I called them 3 times to find out when it will turn up, each time they said 5 minutes. The taxi eventually turned up 45 minutes late. Instead of apologising for being late the driver ranted its not his problem, offended some of the passengers and then proceeded to put his headphones in so he didnt have to listen to us complain. That was not the end of it. Unfortunately we had pre booked the return journey with them. Half way home between Thame and Aylesbury, in the middle of the countryside the driver decided to up the price by £2 or he would ditch us. We were a large group but could you imagine if this was a vulnerable person late at night? They did not offer us any compensation or discount. Not even an apology. I will never use this disgrace of a taxi company ever again. It is my hope that you will read this and neither will you.

Almost didn't book this taxi company because of bad reviews but they were 5star!! Took us from aylesbury to Oxford and back to Leighton buzzard. On the night they were very accommodating when I needed to change the pick up time/location. Prices extremely reasonable!! Would recommend!

Taxi booked by Chiltern railways due to cancelled train. Driver arrived very late (at Aylesbury) and passengers and myself missed connection at Princes Risborough (last train that night). Driver had been told to drop people off at stations between but would only go to P Risborough and then abandoned folks there!

Fantastic local taxi company. Used them Christmas Day, nice 7 seater, really good friendly driver, and despite leaving my phone in the car they came all the way back to drop it off. Used a few times now, and would not use anyone else. Five stars from me.

Awful. lied about price. Refuse to give refund. Refuse manager.

75 mins late, lied repeatedly, didn't know where they were or the coloud of the taxi.

????? Great service. I've Been using them since 2008. Never had a problem. Great prices for local and out of town services. Never been late. Never had any problems. Recommend to all family and friends.

Amazing driver friendly service good fares nothing more to ask for

I had booked a taxi with this organisation for 3.30am to take my relatives to Heathrow airport. I waited until 3.50am and their taxi never arrived and I tried to call the office for an update but no one answered. This morning I have called to try and find out what happened to be told that their driver was there (not possible as I was outside my property) and they have tried to call but I did not answer (no missed calls were received). I asked them why they had not answered the phone when I tried to call and I was told to hold a moment then put through to their answer machine. Great customer service. This will be the first and last time I ever try to use their service. Very disappointed.
