My son got picked up from work paid the cab then realised he left his phone in the cab he try to catch the driver as it went down the road but couldn't so he used my neighbor's phone to call up the company only to be charged $6.60 to drop it back he wasn't that far away what if an elderly person had left there belongings would they be charged for it to this is disgusting we pay enough money to get to where we need to be no help from the taxi company they didn't give a dam so all in all my son paid over $16.00 to come home from work surely this shouldn't happen most taxi drivers wouldn't charge simple needs looking into and stopped wat if my son didn't have the cash to get his phone back would the driver just drive off with it again I feel this was just greed and shouldn't happen I would like an answer to this please.

I called 3 different taxi companies in St Albans for a quote, Gold Line gave the best price (also most friendly sounding). I received an SMS with a tracking link so i could see where the driver was and it also showed the make/model/reg and name of the driver. Best service ever

Was charged £15 even though the meter read £10.50. The driver they charge extra at night but the strange thing is, I use the same company to travel at the same times and have always been charged between £8 - £10 according to the meter.

Got to Stansted airport on time, always answer when i call.

Very rude and unprofessional park on spots where they are not supposed to parked on parking permit holders spot only which is very bad and did not allow room for any space for me to enter and when I asked was here unprofessional and rude to me. Very bad taxi service overall.

Beware! This company is disingenuous and has very bad customer service. I booked a journey for my parents from London to Luton, which I then cancelled. Despite the cancellation was confirmed by the operator both on the phone and by email, I was still charged the money for the full journey.

ive used all other taxi firms in harpenden and as i get taxis regular every morning to the station, A1 taxis compared to the others has always been on time with CLEAN CARS....

Terrible experience with this company. Not only did they turn up at the wrong place and then blame it on us, they took us round the houses and then charged us and extortionate amount for a short journey. I wouldn't recommend at all.

The drivers are incredibly rude and weird, put on loud terrorist report on the radio (it was very loud.) saying weird stuff like “there are more Asian people in UK than Black peoples.” Cheating somebody out of the money, driving so fast and reckless as if theyre going to commit a murder suicide when you refuse to give personal details about yourself, oh and their not done there oh no, they harassed you on phone in the middle of the night after their jobs is over just to upset you. They had some kind of creepy obsession with me when I was underage. I hope someone calls the police on these creeps and the cops do something about it because these men could be dangerous.
