Just left 10/10 feedback on Checkatrade for Nicholas (owner of CallGas) as he has just completed a Gas Safety Certificate for my Apartment in Four Oaks at very short notice. I needed one done the same day as I have tenants moving in in a few days. I called about 5 companies and none could do it the same day. Nicholas was able to arrive very quickly (within 1.5 hours) and arrived promptly in a professionally branded van with all Gas Safety Regd logos etc. Very very pleased with the service, it did not take too long and he was extremely professional and courteous, and a pleasure to meet. I highly recommend CallGas to anyone in Birmingham looking for a high quality service at a reasonable price.

I had a gas engineer recently install a new boiler and change a few radiators, the work was extremely neat and tidy and the engineer was very polite and informative. I would definitely recommend Sovereign Gas to my family and friends.

After obtaining a few quotes from local businesses we chose Sovereign Gas to replace our old Vaillant Combi boiler. Richard arrived on the day and time he said to discuss the work we would like carrying out. There was no pressure he just provided a few suggestions to the requirements we needed. We would highly recommend them for any Heating/Plumbing work, they were punctual, clean and highly skilled in the work they carried out, fully explaining the controls on the new boiler. Richard came out to give a quote for boiler replacement. He spent time actually looking at the job and what was required. Others did not bother! He was very polite, did not fob us off with extras. Quote was very competitive. We chose him to do work on his reputation, genuineness, politeness and of course quote. Day of installation, came at time stated, protected carpets and flooring. Work quality was superb, very neat, Richard and his colleague Josh worked non stop. Before leaving tidied up and put things back to as they were. They then explained how new boiler worked etc. Overall they clearly ensure their work is exceptional in quality, proud of their work, polite. Richard and his employees deserve the one word title in the heading "superlative" well done and thank you. I wouldn't normally do reviews but these guys deserve my time in doing one. work carried out 28/05/15

Emergency leak under the bath coming through ceiling. Called low cost plumbing who arrived in 25 minutes and sorted everything for such a reasonable price! Would definitely recommended.

Needed new taps fitted in my bathroom, low cost plumbing were, quick, friendly and completed the job for a great price. I would recommend them to anyone.

Brilliant company to do plumbing work.

Left with bathroom fan which blows into loft space rather than outside causing damp & ruined photographs, shower screen not installed correctly so water runs outside bath & onto floor with every shower, bath sealant allows water to leak onto ceiling below, radiator valve has been leaking since installation & have been let down 4 times so far by the boss who is supposed to fix things. Messy workers, left rubbish, drove over neighbours' grass & blocked driveways. Not recommended.

Absolutely abysmal service and workmanship!!! Consamt problems with my boiler going on for years now! I would never use them ever again but unfortunately the housing association i am with has a contract with Status heating, the latest most dangerous problem I have encountered using Status has been recently when I had a gas leak to property, a Status engineer came to "fix" it after he finally found it! (Cadent found it before Status and the Status engineer still struggled to find it) only to have a gas leak 2 weeks later due to the work carried out by this engineer! Never seen such disgusting and unsafe work! At least one engineer who works for this company should be taken off the gas safe register

Keep well clear of status heating. From pilot light issue, status managed to bully elderly client to buy new boiler.

Waste of time,half the engineers that come out to sort my heating system have no idea how to fix it. Get the same problems over and over again, they get round this by booking the same faults as new bookings. Three days with no heating and no hot water.

Would leave zero stars, waited in all evening for an engineer as have no heating, call back to be told basically tough as you have a gas fire in the living room. Asked if that means a pregnant female, oap and 2 year old with a cold need to sleep in the living room only to be told we can leave the gas fire on with the doors open to heat upstairs! The gas bill would be astronomical let alone the obvious fire hazard that would be!! Poor customer service having been promised attendance by 10pm by day staff!

Extremely poor. Would not recommend. Waited in for a new boiler to be fitted and they haven't even turned up. No apology. Extremely poor management. Would not use this company.
