We had a very severe problem with damp in our loft because of water ingress. This meant that our property was difficult to heat and not at all energy efficient. Past and Present identified the issues quickly and carried out the required repairs efficiently and to a very high standard. The workmen who carried out the work were professional and very helpful. They kept us informed at every stage of the work. Our property no longer feels damp and the loft is now dry. We would definitely recommend Past and Present for their customer service and expertise. David explained all the work that was required very thoroughly and kept us updated throughout the process, sending several before and after photos. He answered our many questions and he is very knowledgeable. The work on our roof has come with a 10 year guarantee, so we also have peace mind! Michael and his team came to look at my roof hoping it was a small job but sadly the roof was in a bad way and had been neglected for decades. I got three quotes and White Knights were the cheapest and the ones that impressed me the most. They replaced the whole roof and even though it was a far bigger job than they first thought and took longer they stuck to the quote to the penny. Every day they produced videos to show me what they had done . I had a great experience and would not hesitate to recommend White Knight to anyone.

I had water coming through our roof in several places and arranged for several companies to quote, White Knight immediately gave us faith and I am so glad that we chose them. White Knights level of knowledge and professionalism was second to none they took pictures and videos daily to show us what was needed and how they had addressed it and did a stunning job on a very difficult property in a conservation area. Added to this all of their staff were polite and courteous and really friendly. The job was quoted at 6 days but for a host of reasons it took 11 but there was not even mention that the price should increase, and it did not. I was so pleased with the job that I then arranged for them to replace the textured coating on the house, this of course was a different specialised team but they were again masters in their trade and have done a fantastic job. I would recommend White Knight to anyone having them and 25 year guarantee on the work removes all the worries we had on an old

Just had a terrible experience of water pouring onto our bedroom ceiling while I was at work.My wife did what she could in containing the leak until I arrived home.Shortly after part of the ceiling caved in.After a couple of calls to roofing companies who did not answer I reached Rob at 1st call who said they could come first thing in the morning.They promptly arrived as said and fixed a split in the valley flashing in a professional way.I don't know how we would have coped without Rob and his men during all the recent bad weather.Many thanks and would highly recommend.

after phoning various roofing company's who were to busy except for one who wanted £3.500 to fix my leaking roof i spoke to Rob from 1St Call Roofing who was recommended by a friend after explaining the leak to Rob he thought it was a broken tile this proved to be correct and the work was carried out for a fraction of the price by friendly workers who new what they were doing would recommend them to any one looking for an honest roofer.

I contacted 1st call regarding a guttering downpipe issue. They attended the same day and explained what needed to be done. The attended the next day and competently ensured my guttering was at the correct angle for the downpipe to be effective. Whilst there they noticed, and photographed, two broken slates on my roof. These were promptly changed the next morning They provided an excellent service at a good price. I will use the again for any other roofing issues

Contacted 1st call after a cowboy installed a downpipe which fell off the wall after 1 hour.....They came within a day and refitted . Extremely professional and friendly ,would not hesitate to recommend ...Thank you for restoring my faith in Tradesmen . Should have made 1st call my first call !!!

We called about a leaking roof in the morning and they arrived at the house by the afternoon to investigate the problem. We were provided with some options to fix the leak, and once we had decided which way to move forward they arrived promptly the next day to carry out the work. They completed the work efficiently and professionally.

With the way things are in the roofing trade for materials etc I was pleasantly surprised by being kept informed about any changes to my delivery of tiles etc and by the very professional workmen and workmanship now that my roof is complete. Would not recommend haddington roofing, carried out work at my house, left my garden in a complete mess, the works to the roof were not carried out correctly and I had to contact another roofer to fix these works. I asked John to revisit the property to clean up and fix the original work but no I was completely ignored. Complete cowboy

I have had my roof fixed twice already by 2 different roofing companies, however no one seemed to fix it. I was then recommended Allan by a friend and all I can say is what a difference. Allan was extremely thorough. He took before and after pictures of my job, explaining the issues and how to remedy them. Allan and his company are very professional and trustworthy.
