    • Utter rubbish. Female travelling alone. Ordered a can for 10pm from the train station. By 10:30pm the taxi still hadnt arrived. I called a neighbour to come and get me. Poor poor service. Rang them at 10:30 to politely cancel my taxi to be told ok. Will not use ever ever again.

    • Ordered a minibus for 12pm . Turned up 20mins late then had to stop to refuel further delaying journey. Best advice- if you need to be somewhere on time, order for half hour before you need to get there. Better still- AVOID THESE AMATUERS COMPLETELY !!!

    • I really dont understand how this company only has 2 stars. I always get Cavalier and use them at least 2 times a week for various things as I cant drive and often wake up late for work. Their drivers are friendly and are almost always here within 10 minutes of booking. Ive only ever had 1 real issue with cavalier since I started using them 3 years ago and the operators sorted my issue out almost immediately. Overall, a brilliant service

    • DO NOT USE this Taxi Company! I called at 10:19 and ordered a taxi for 11:40 to take us to Stalybridge Station, at 11:41 I called again to find out where taxi was only to be told it would be about 5 to 10 minutes as they are very busy, I couldnt believe what I was hearing when the operator also said it was up to the driver if they wanted the job or not....... correct me if Im wrong but my understanding of booking a taxi for a specific time is because you have to be somewhere for a certain time! I would not use this Taxi Company again and would definitely NOT recommend them.

    • I understand this is a small company (not sure how small it is now that they have merged with "Swift") & I understand sometimes things can go wrong. I work at The Alexander Club and have done so for about five years. I've been using A2B for about six years in total and after tonight-I will not be using them ever again. Each time I finish work, I call for a taxi stating where I am-outside The Alexander OPPOSITE THE PRINCE OF ORANGE. Sometimes I just ask for the taxi opposite The Prince of Orange and don't mention The Alexander Club because they never send it there. However, on NUMEROUS occasions they send the taxi to the wrong place. And I'm stood waiting. For ages. I ALWAYS have to call again at least once. I'm always left waiting around 20 minutes. I told the driver tonight that I may have to stop using the taxi firm and his DISGUSTING response was "Whatever". Horrible service and tonight the driver just drove me over the edge with his pathetic response. That was after I tipped him!

    • Never ever will I use swift taxes in Stalybridge absolutely disgusting taking £10 off my 14-year-old daughter when it was supposed to be a £4 taxi journey the woman on the desk is absolutely rude and needs to get a new job I will never ever use this taxis firm ever again and will be telling everyone I no not to!

    • Ordered a minibus and a taxi as we specifically needed it for a school trip I was organising, they said this would be no problem. Sent three taxis which meant we had to take three members of staff instead of two as we legally have to have a staff member in each vehicle. This is why we ordered a minibus and a taxi. This meant we were late for our event as we were short of lifts. Rang Swift and they were rude, unhelpful and weren't interested in assisting us. We will NOT be using them again. There are plenty of other decent taxi companies you can use round here.

    • Awful, bullying drivers. Just had lots of abuse from one who could not pass me in a car park. Wouldn't have had a problem if he had not driven so close to my bumper. Lone females especially avoid!!

    • Startax/Embassy/Z Cars or whatever you are calling yourselves today, you are absolutely disgraceful, we are stuck at the airport and being refused a taxi because your driver cant explain where he is, and this is a huge car park/a huge airport, both of us are Asthmatic, Ive already had an incident today due to how cold it is, and being sent on a wild goose chase around Manchester airport car parks, is not my idea of good customer service. I use your taxi firm all the time, and our pub puts a lot of business your way, and I cannot believe the way I have just been spoken to, when I tried to rebook a cab, my Husband was getting frustrated on the previous call as your driver wasnt making any sense at all. But to accuse ME of swearing is not only untrue, but an insult, the operator I spoke to refused to send another cab and hung up on me! Disgusting! I will be using a different firm from now on! #rude #ignorant #uncaring

    • Appalling service, don't use this company if you pre-book and expect your cab to turn up. I booked a 7 seater cab a week in advance to bring us home from a family dinner. When it failed to turn I rang the base and was told it would be over an hour late because all the cabs were in Manchester. I said that was unacceptable because I had a pre-booking and was told that if I had rung up for my taxi then I would have been told it would be an hour - but I had pre-booked !!!! I was given the option of two cabs but when I asked if they would honour the confirmed fare for the 7 seater I was told that I would have to pay more for both taxis. We eventually managed to get another company to send us a mini bus. Having read other recent reviews it seems this is a common occurrence.

    • Absolutely appalling service. Booked a taxi for 5:45pm to the airport. No one turned up. We rang at 6pm as they're 15 minutes late - no one answered - the phone was out of service or being hung up on me! We have had to ask a neighbour to take us last minute running 25 minutes late in rush hour traffic! Wouldn't even give this unreliable company one star if I didn't have to!

    • At 10am this morning I booked a taxi for 3:15pm. At 3.05 when the taxi had not arrived I called the taxi company and asked if the taxi was on its was and was told there was no taxi on it way. After explaining i have an appointment in 10 minutes, the lady said she would send one "urgently". Finally at 3.25 the taxi arrived, i was now already 10 minutes late for my appointment. Needless to say the surgery could not fit me in and I missed my appointment. This means not only have I paid £11.10 for a taxi and lost out from an hours of paid work, I now have to do the same this again. I would understand this being a problem if I had not already booked the taxi but as seen as I had booked 5 hours in advance, I was very disappointed and will be looking for a different local taxi firm for all future taxi requirements including my second trip to the surgery. Todays experience was not even worthy of a 1* rating but that is the lowest option available.

    • My mum rang this number to order a 7 seater taxi they said it was unavailable so she rang a different taxi number assuming it was a different taxi service and asked for a 7 seater again. Turns out the other number was there number aswell and the man was very very very rude to her raising his voice saying we've already told u once we don't have a 7 seater why u calling again. My mum apolgised and hung up. Both numbers were 0161628700/01616241212. I'm very angry at the way my mum was spoken to and immediately ordered her a taxi from limeline who were so helpful and informative. Avoid at all cost!!!!

    • Do not touch this comapny with a bargepole. Have used them often for years, however they have a guy (think his taxi number is 388) who refused to let us pick up some coins that were dropped onto the taxi floor. He said 'it's in my cab, so it's mine'. Now whenever we phone Delta Cars, if he turns up, he puts two fingers up, and drives off . We then have to wait for another taxi. How this guy still has a licence is beyond me! Avoid at all costs.This issue is currently being dealt with by Oldham Council.

    • Taxi driver lied to us and got other people in his taxi and lied to our faces and said that it was for another person. Rang him 3/4 times and ignored my phone call. Worst taxi service Ive ever had I ever had I recommend cartax instead.

    • I never leave bad reviews for businesses but on this ocassion the service provided has been so shocking I felt compelled to tell others so they do not encounter the same unprofessional experience. I booked a taxi 1 week in advance for an airport transfer at a fixed rate of £28. (This already included additional airport fees of £3 as discussed). This was confirmed once again when phoning upon the actual day of reservation and with the taxi driver himself on the phone pre pick up. The driver arrived 45minutes late and struggled to find us apparently, despite being at terminal 3 pick up point (the only bodies in the entire car park) and All United specialising in airport pick ups. He then got lost due to the motorway being closed and we had to use our own Google maps to guide him to our destination because he just kept going round in circles.
