Taxis in Seaview, Isle of Wight

I will be using this taxi company every time we are on holiday on the isle of wight

Since moving to lake a year ago . I've been using this company on a weekly basis . All the staff are very helpful and friendly . Taxis always arrive on time . Mr York the company owner will always try to juggle his Drivers to fit everybody's journey in. 100% recommended.

I've used Lake Taxis for 17 years and I have never been let down. All the drivers have been helpful to both my Mum and myself.i can't speak highly enough.

We have used Hardway cabs numerous times and been happy. But a few dats ago we booked a 7 oclock taxi going out and an 11 oclock taxi to get home. The 7 oclock taxi came at 7.20, no big deal we understand these things happen. The 11 oclock taxi.....we phoned them at 11.22 to be told the taxi was outside at 11 oclock but left because we werent outside, they did not phone/text us or ring the doorbell. They said another taxi would be sent in half an hour. At 11.54 we phoned again and explained that we had a babysitter at home and we had booked an 11 oclock taxi for this reason, it was not ok that we had not received any communication about the first taxi and we had booked this days in advance. I wasnt happy but I was not rude. The man on the other end of the phone told me I was being rude and that they were not going to send us a taxi out. We arent rude people, we had children at home and couldnt get to them, so I feel understandably I was a little annoyed.
