fantastic finish on decorating work done on hall stairs and landing, second time i have used David, polite, professional and great advice, highly recommend.

I found David to be highly experienced and trustworthy painter . His advice came in very useful and found him easy to works with, who was always open to ideas and suggestions. Would happy recommend him to friends.

Third Generation were decorating a property next door and I asked Richard for an estimate for my lounge, dining area, hall landing and stairs. Richard quoted a reasonable price and gave us a date he could start. He was very thorough in his preparation as the stairwell had never been painted in 15 years since the house was built and he took time to fill and sand down to a lovely finish. He was tidy, accurate and did a fantastic job. He also wallpapered my main wall and it looks like one piece of paper it is so good. We were really really pleased with the end result and invited Richard back to paint our bedroom which he has just finished, Richard is courteous, a good timekeeper, an excellent painter and decorator and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to my family and friends. Thank you Richard for two great jobs we are very happy.

Andy and Lewis painted the outside of my house. I chose them as Andy had previously painted the interior to a very high standard and his price was very competitive. Again he did a superb job and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others - indeed relatives are using him shortly. Painting of kitchen and livingroom including woodwork and ceiling. As someone how has to make their money go that bit further I'm very glad I plumped for AFL. Andrew's company is certainly not the cheapest (or cheap), but in this case you get what you pay for, a real feeling of reassurance from the moment you get the initial quote, right through to the finish of the job. No sinking feelings or worries, just the warm glow of satisfaction at having made the right choice from the outset. No worrying about shortcuts being taken or things being done on the cheap. The decorators were punctual, clean and tide and completely transformed the room.

Exterior decoration of house. The work was to decorate the exterior of our house. This was carried out to a very high standard. The team, Sunny and Patrick, arrived early each day and worked steadily to complete the work, no hassle. Excellent communication - Andrew Farkas would let me know evenings what would happen the next day. The job was carried out to budget, 1/2 paid when the job was 1/2 done, the balance on completion. The only thing that went "wrong" was that the replacement downpipe was installed so that I couldn't remove the drain grid for cleaning or rodding the drain, should that be necessary. Andrew had that sorted out within a couple of days, so the problem was quickly resolved. I am happy to give Andrews Farkas top marks.

Nigel has done a couple of painting/wall papering jobs for us and I cannot fault him. The finish has been absolutely amazing, smooth walls and perfect lines. Nigel and his son Elliot have done a brilliant job restoring our very dilapidated house. They offer much more than you would expect from a decorating team. They can replace and repair rotten wood work so that it looks as good as new and have an extensive knowledge of what paint works best on different surfaces. They are perfectionists and all their work from preparation to finish is excellent. Nigel and Elliot were a pleasure to have around. Outstanding. Chris has superb attention to detail, he works hard and the final result is superb. He cross-lined & wallpapered our living room in a very dark colour taking it from bright and stark to rich and warm. I cannot recommend Chris and team highly enough. He's pretty much decorated all of our house now since we found him last year, this has included spindle stair cases, hanging Farrow & Ball wall paper, painting mantlepiece surround as well as the usual walls and woodwork. They sand everything to make sure the right finish can be achieved, they have invested in the right kit to do the job, it sucks the dust back in and the hoover up after themselves. The finish on painting and decorating is excellent. On top of a great job, they are trustworthy, clean and turn up when they say they will.
