Taxis in BL8

My son was short of £1. The taxi driver locked the car started swearing and calling him names. This was false imprisonment. I would strongly recommend using Magnam Whiteline instead

Group of girls being picked up from Manchester. We were quoted £55.00 but once we were half way home they bumped up the price to £65.00. When we protested we were told we had to pay upfront or we would be stranded half way home. We very nearly called the police due to the taxi driver shouting at us. Horrendous service.

Used to be quite reliable. Now when I order a cab they usually say about 10 minutes. After 20 mins I call back and they say hes round the corner, should be with you in a few minutes. I give it another 15 mins then call again, they usually say, “hold on a minute Ill see where he is, oh yes hes a few minutes away”, then I receive the first text to say the taxi is on its way. When it arrives it usually drives to the other end of the road, cant even be bothered looking for a door number so you have to go chasing down the road after it. I always ask the driver how long ago they got my booking and its always just now. Its the same story every time so Ive finally lost patience.

Very poor in recent weeks. Seem to have drivers who dont know way around especially for the airport. Theyve become too big and forgotten what good service is.

Shocking service they left my 70year old grandparents stranded in Manchester. We pre booked the taxi 72 hours before hand. When we rang to see where they were the woman hung up. Ended up phoning a Manchester firm who pocketed the ?25 journey back to Radcliffe.

Absolutely terrible, said a taxi would be 5 minutes, 25 minutes later and I'm still stood in the rain waiting for the taxi, so then I ring the taxi firm only to have the phone put down on me by the woman, I ring back again and ask to speak to the manager, the woman was very rude and refused to put me through to her manager at all, then put the phone down again because I apparently swore, which I didn't, Then when the "taxi" did arrive it wasn't a taxi at all, it was a minicab when I specifically asked for a taxi, taxi was unclean and dirty and the taxi driver kept coughing all over and not covering his mouth, to top it all off the driver tried to charge me ?6 for going 1.5 miles, when I've used taxis to and from the same destination which usually come to around ?3.70

Quite a fast driver which makes the agony of watching the meter a little easier to bear!

Awful. Rang for a taxi for myself and my two children, and was told it would be 30 minutes. Waited 45 minutes to allow them time and when I called back they denied I had called. Even though I recalled the same number from the same mobile. Appalling service. They dont care and are out and out liars.

Even though the driver went in the wrong direction which added £10 to the usual fare he insisted on the amount showing on the meter.

had the worst experience from this company tonight, the woman who answers calls has spoken to us awfully and made a really bad name for the company i have used this company for a very long time youre taxi drivers are lovely but id consider hiring a new operator her attitude is awful and so unhelpful, will never ever use this company again, consider hiring staff who are polite

While I accept that it's busy in the mornings and bad weather doesn't help, 2 and a half hours for a taxi is an absolute joke!!!! I booked on the app which allows you to track your driver, after waiting an hour? My booking suddenly said cancelled, when I called they said driver cancelled as he had been and it was a no job, I had been tracking the driver and he had deffinatly not been. I imagion he couldn't find my address? So instead of cancelling it and lying why not just phone me, I could have directed him or met him somewhere!! REALLY REALLY annoys me! I then had to wait a further hour and a half making me very late for work! As a regular customer I m so dissapointed! Magnum whiteline you should be ashamed of yourselves, you will end up losing a lot of customers!

They are always late. 10-15 minutes is common. They lie when you phone to chase. Sometimes bookings made in the evening for the morning are forgotten.

Just got a cab today, did not have to wait charged a fair price ... Here I am doing my bit now. Will be using the bradshawgate office again.

I have been using the town center office for years now.Very good service every time. Keep it up guys.

Can't fault the service, I only use these guys when ever am in bolton. 5 stars from me.

Absolutely awful - take an age to arrive and don't pick up the phone.

Pre-booked a taxi for the school run for it to come 30 mins late and get told nothing on the phone except what do i expect it is friday.

I had a taxi booked for 7:10. I rung at 7:15 and was told it would be 3-4 minutes. At 7:20 I found my own way to work, as I started at 7:30. The taxi then turned up at my house at 7:40, which I find more insulting than if it hadn't turned up at all. Definitely won't use this company again.
