I have been using Gilbert's over 25 years now.

Really bad, booked with disabled needs explained this was assured of help, but the drive refused any assistance - so mean spirited - what a horrible company

Always provide me amazing and reliable service. Much better than the other local firms. Highly recommended

Paid for group booking gave them a tip in advance big mistake driver miserable & wanted more money give Gilbert a wide berth.

A local family taxi company well established with a great fleet of drivers and nice cars. Polite, punctual and good value too.

Used clover cabs twice on Sunday 26th June 22, the first can was late and the driver was quite dude when I tried to explain the location. I only managed to get out the name of the location before he very rudely said I know where it is. He didn't put on the meter set off and charged us £12 for a 8 min ride( checked on Google maps). The second driver was even worse he suggested to another customer who called them to taxi share with us, which we didn't mind but quickly found out why he did this. On arrival at the return destination ( 8 mins again) he tried to charge us £16 as he claimed that he was charging for the number of passengers. I challenged this and a screaming match started in the cab. The driver called someone who he claimed was his head office to state why he was right ( they spoke in another language claiming that the passengers are all crazy and say that the fare is correct in English) unfortunately for the driver the other passenger in the cab understood the language.

Absolutely shockingly high prices, travelled from the bull Hotel in denham to Uxbridge Station, 15min car journey, travelled at 5pm, was charged £27 for the journey, I will not be using this service again, complete rip off. To add insult to injury the owner denied that the journey had taken, I have a receipt for the journey and a clover taxis business card to confirm the journey did happen. It would appear as though clover taxis have a dishonest diver who hasn't put the journey through the books or the owner is trying to discredit my claim to save their reputation. The driver advised that the only payment method was cash, this is misleading with the information that you have on the front of your business card which displays pictures of all the major credit and debit cards, this suggests to me that payment can be made by credit or debit card. Either way terrible experience with the driver and the owner of the comany for trying to discredit this review.

As a customer whom lives less than 100yds from the Clover Taxi office I prefer to support my local businesses by giving them trade. We use them for visits to friends, the airport or when I am not able to give my kids a lift. Never again. I'm not sure if its just this 1 rogue driver, but on the 2 occasions that he has picked up my teenage son he's overcharged him. My sons route is a regular & I usually call in advance to agree the fare - between £10-£12 for the 5.5 mile journey each way, which it has been for the last year. The 1st time the driver charged him £14 for an agreed fare of £10. To be fair to the office, got him to come back and honour the original quote and he returned £4. There is more than one firm I could use so when I agree a fare for my vulnerable teenage son when he is on his own, I don't expect it to be changed on a whim. So tonight the same driver fleeced him for £20!. Never again. Such short sighted greed. Avoid

This taxi company are rude, late, won't take card payment but don't tell you that when booking don't help with luggage either putting in boot or taking out. Would definitely not recommend them.

They lie about the price when you book and then they threat you at the destination if you don't pay the new price they claim. I booked a taxi for the airport for an early am the night before my trip. They confirmed me the price £35 to the airport. The next morning once I arrived to the airport the driver claimed me £45. When I clomplained and said that I was not going to pay that price the driver and the person on th phone from clover taxis threatened me going to claim the money to the pick up point address which is my relatives. I would have never booked the taxi for £45. Addison Lee is cheaper £43, very professional, and definitely safer. Please avoid clover taxis.

Overcharged, lied that he went i to connection charge, added another child fee of £15 despite my son being a 16year old. Fare normally £50-£60. This driver took £125 from my son who had to give directions as the driver got lost going into Westfield car park. Sat Nav said my son would arrive to his birthday party at 5pm this driver took an extra hour as he had no idea of where he was going. How did he even end up in Westfields and just lied that he crossed over into congestion charge. Ive just read the reviews on this firm something should be done now!!
