Taxis in Solihull, West Midlands

I have been using Birmingham Taxis since 2/6/18. I have found their service outstanding. Their drivers are professional, courteous, extremely polite and Birmingham Taxis are excellent. Fabulous value for money. I highly recommend them. I am sorry for the above customer's experience, one can only assume they mixed Birmingham Taxis up with another firm.

Rubbish. Ordered a taxi capable of taking passenger (my 88 year-old mother) in wheelchair from hospital to father's funeral (carefully told them all circumstances as times critical) & they failed to turn up. Seemed to think a text message - not received until after due time - was enough to avoid their breach of contract.

I had a taxi with BTS Professional cars from Birmingham Airport to Heathrow Airport a few days ago, I can say the driver was very professional and friendly, with great service, and discounted price. Thank you

Highly recommend Home James taxis they do not overcharge you,very reasonable and cheap taxi fares.They are very punctual . A good friendly service with very helpful drivers .Nice clean cars.

I used this company when i couldn't get a taxi to the airport. they were with me within 10mins, the driver was very nice and helpful and when i told them how much i usually pay they beat it

Disgusting service from CentreX when my wife and family were going to BHX. Taxi had been booked several weeks in advance but they failed to send a taxi on the day. When she rang to ask where the taxi was, she was told that CentreX had informed the booking comapny (TaxiCode) that the taxi had been dispatched, but they weren't actually sending a vehicle. Only a mad dash involving me and another vehicle both having to come over from Coventry to Sutton Coldfield got them to the airport on time. Shocking customer service, avoid at all costs.

This taxi firm was outstanding from the minute I called the office to when the taxi arrived and had dropped me to my desired location. The operator was very kind to me and so was the driver, they where not rude like other taxi drivers from different firms. I highly recommend this firm it is one of the best in Birmingham.

Taxi company good prices compared to others but taxi drivers always say its more which is annoying for the sake of 50p ..

I have used Local Radio Cars for years now and never been let down by them yet, helpful phone staff and polite drivers what more can you ask for ? would recommend.

Waited 30 minutes for a taxi from the airport at a very clear arranged spot. When l called to find out where the car was, l was told that the driver couldn't find us & had cancelled the booking. This did not include any notification to us &, as we were watching the entrance & could see every car coming in, was a blatant lie. I will never use this company again.

My father uses these idiots to get home from my house after a weekly visit. They regularly leave him standing on the pavement waiting for ages without an idea of how long they'll be. I suggested to him that he request a callback when they are here, especially in bad weather, and now they call 2 or 3 times per minute before he gets to the car (we are not on the road, but down a walk). One call will do, he's 74, he's not gonna jog to you when you phone. You're almost, but not quite, as bad as the other local idiots TC Cars.

If you want to arrive at your destination on time - DO NOT book with Local - I have made a number of bookings in advance and they simply do not arrive when required. I booked for a 4.00pm car to the city centre , the car arrived at 5.10pm all backed up with some rather lame excuses. Just unreliable which isn't what a taxi firm should be...

I've had a really poor experience with this taxi firm. I went to theatre in town and caught train to Lea Hall Station. I ordered a taxi for 1130pm from Lea Hall. After numerous telephone calls, saying 10 mins, then another 10 mins, it eventually came 1 hour later. Me and my mum who is a pensioner were freezing cold and upset by the experience. The firm were apologetic and taxi driver was great but experience terrible. I won't be using this firm again x

Awful firm. Had an extremely horrific journey with a driver. First of all I phoned for a taxi which I was tol was on its way. About 12 mins after I called again the man said it was on my street... still didnt arrive aftee 2O mins waiting it ginally arrived. When I got in the raxo the driver said he was only just told about the job now! The man first of all had never heard of DORRIDGE. The post code was provided to help him as he had a sat nav. The journey should have taken 15-20 mins. This was an awful journey the driver nearly cauused 3 separate accidents along the way. One time driving on to a large roundabout where his two wheels were ok n the round about. Then he pulled out at a junction where a car was coming directly towards us and if that car did not brake it would have hit us!

Reliable firm on time always! Cheap fare prices too.

Terrible service, would advise never to use. The driver wanted cash only and charged double the price. Phoned to complain and got no help in resolving the issue. Drivers like that give the company a bad name.

Had to wait 30 mins today for the taxi and then he didnt have his eyes on the road he was reading his prayer book! Have been using them for a couple of weeks and their driving is sometimes reckless, could have ended up in a few accidents, using phones while they are driving and slow to arrive, wont be using them again!

My taxi experience has left me not to want a call a taxi ever again The taxi man was so rude. I felt very unsafe. Worried for my girls safety. Never again.

Bad experience, taxi did not arrive. Rude staff. If in Tyseley or acocks green, Sparkhill hall green etc call 01212222222 they provided a good service.

Lovely driver. Picked up my son and I from heartlands and took us home to west heath. Very kind and even offered my son his bottle of water following his procedure. Thank you

Worse company ever they lie to get a booking , don't turn up , then lie again to say they'll be with you in 20 mins and guess wot they don't turn up again...... would like to give 0 stars but no option to do this , are they actually a taxi service or are they a scam...... and yes I won't be attempting to book a taxi with this company again.... spread the word

Possibly the worst taxi company Ive dealt with. Called an hour in advance to book taxi for 5pm and was told all was booked. Taxi driver calls me at 4:30pm to ask if Im ready to go now, which I wasnt, and told him Id be ready at 5pm hence me booking that time. Time of booking rolls around and no car arrives, so I phone the office to be told that they cant do the job as theres no cars in the area. Nobody bothered to call me to let me know. What an absolute s-show this company is! Will avoid at all costs.

They don't care about customer property. Very dishonesty individuals at call centre. Avoid at all cost. Use alternatives

Worst service ever! Called the day before to book an airport run at 4.30am. They called at 4.25am saying they didnt have any drivers. Dont bother if you have a flight or appointment- youll get there sooner by walking.
