Third Generation were decorating a property next door and I asked Richard for an estimate for my lounge, dining area, hall landing and stairs. Richard quoted a reasonable price and gave us a date he could start. He was very thorough in his preparation as the stairwell had never been painted in 15 years since the house was built and he took time to fill and sand down to a lovely finish. He was tidy, accurate and did a fantastic job. He also wallpapered my main wall and it looks like one piece of paper it is so good. We were really really pleased with the end result and invited Richard back to paint our bedroom which he has just finished, Richard is courteous, a good timekeeper, an excellent painter and decorator and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to my family and friends. Thank you Richard for two great jobs we are very happy.

I have used Michael Rose Painting & Decorating Services for several projects in our home and would highly recommend Michael and his team. They completely redecorated our hall, stairs and landing to a very high standard. We were delighted with the end result. When we unexpectedly had a water leak from pipes in our loft during the project, Michael quickly dealt with the matter by hiring a dehumidifier to dry out the damp area on the ceiling. He ensured that stains were removed and paintwork completed thoroughly to provide an excellent finish. He also dealt efficiently with a separate damp stain on the living room ceiling caused by a shower leak by applying a stain stop and repainting the problem area to a high standard. Michael is courteous, very approachable and trustworthy. He is a great project manager and keeps in regular communication on the status of each project. I would highly recommend Michael and his team.

I hired Michael Rose Painting & Decorating Services to do quite a bit of work including painting my hall and stairs and the front of my house, porch and windows etc. Michael himself is a lovely man, very honest and hard working, really decent with morals, which was a breath of fresh air compared to previous traders I've used, his small team were unbelievable too, they all really went that extra mile, I would definitely use them again and simply can't recommend them enough.

The overall experience of using Michael Rose Painting was excellent. We hired them to paint the exterior of our two-story end-of-terrace house. The staff were polite, friendly and professional throughout. The work was done to an exceptional standard with remarkable attention to detail. There was also thorough preparation before starting to ensure our decking would remain free of paint. One windy day they even wrapped a nearby parked car in plastic. The clean up at the end was equally thorough. We will definitely use them again for all painting work.

I've had people before who were not respectful of my house, treating it like it was a building site - untidy and cavalier. Well, after reading a few reviews, they are really everything that I would say. Vince is truly a lovely pleasant man, on time, you can trust him if you go out, no mess he has done a lovely job on my hall and lounge/ kitchen. I would definitely recommend him to anyone one who wants a professional job doing. Nothing too much trouble for him, moved my tv back every day, put my curtains back up, cleaned my windows and even offered to put my frames back on walls. He left after finishing the job leaving my house clean and tidy. So if you need a decorator Vince is your man. Thanks again Vince

I heard about Vince from my neighbours so booked him in for some decorating of my porch and stripping and varnishing my inner door. All I can say is Vince is an old school professional and really knows his trade. He is a fountain of knowledge and guided us in terms of colours and trends. The service provided by Marshels Of Farnham Ltd was excellent, they came and decorated a large drawing room in a listed with a ornate ceiling requiring artisan expertise. They did an brilliant job with the decorating and we will be using them again in the future. The staff were professional and friendly and we had no trouble at all with using them. Painting was fine but unfortunately far to much splash marks over cooker, table tops, floor.

Took up painting work for our home, friendly and polite workers didn't bother us much.

Extremely happy with the quality of the work, a bit expensive but the results are great.
