    • Im not happy...my elderly mum 78, whos got alzheimers booked a taxi on xmas day with star cars and made it clear to the operator she needed extra help from the door to car as she very unstable on her feet they said no problem. When the driver turned up he walked infront of her and she asked can I hold ur arm and he carried on walking and she fell a 78 year old woman who's unstable on her feet with alzheimers. She as badly hurt her both knees as the driver couldn't be bothered to help her. Then he had the cheek to rip her off with the taxi fair. This is a disgrace and wont be using them again.

    • Was told that they had taxi but would not send to me because they wanted me to choose them over another taxi firm and because I didn't they refuse to send me one well they won't be getting my money again or anyone I know,the guy on the phone raged questions at me like a psycho partner like I cheated on him then changed the fact he had a cab to he didn't I would avoid this company there homophobic views are bad enough then there the state of there vehicle, the fact they get there family to give them good reviews on fbook is a joke they delete the rest,ran by men who are stuck in the stone age I have reported them and if anyone else get problems with them go to the council

    • Ordered a car and after being told 20 minutes took an hour. Called again and fobbed off. Driver called and said he was 5 minutes away when it took over 20 minutes then blamed dispatch. Royal used to be good but this is the 2nd time KMR have been very poor

    • 5 mins before taxi due they rang to say there was no-one available to pick up- and they wouldn't do the return journey (also pre-booked) either- as it was too short a journey for them. Why didn't they say so when I booked it? Also they advertise they cover Northfield station so maybe they should take that off the website. Had to walk for half an hour in the rain uphill with a heavy case using mobile phone satnav.

    • Waited 30 minutes for a taxi from the airport at a very clear arranged spot. When l called to find out where the car was, l was told that the driver couldn't find us & had cancelled the booking. This did not include any notification to us &, as we were watching the entrance & could see every car coming in, was a blatant lie. I will never use this company again.

    • My father uses these idiots to get home from my house after a weekly visit. They regularly leave him standing on the pavement waiting for ages without an idea of how long they'll be. I suggested to him that he request a callback when they are here, especially in bad weather, and now they call 2 or 3 times per minute before he gets to the car (we are not on the road, but down a walk). One call will do, he's 74, he's not gonna jog to you when you phone. You're almost, but not quite, as bad as the other local idiots TC Cars.

    • If you want to arrive at your destination on time - DO NOT book with Local - I have made a number of bookings in advance and they simply do not arrive when required. I booked for a 4.00pm car to the city centre , the car arrived at 5.10pm all backed up with some rather lame excuses. Just unreliable which isn't what a taxi firm should be...

    • I've had a really poor experience with this taxi firm. I went to theatre in town and caught train to Lea Hall Station. I ordered a taxi for 1130pm from Lea Hall. After numerous telephone calls, saying 10 mins, then another 10 mins, it eventually came 1 hour later. Me and my mum who is a pensioner were freezing cold and upset by the experience. The firm were apologetic and taxi driver was great but experience terrible. I won't be using this firm again x
